Pretty much this.
Kick with your laces, not your toe.
Pass with the insides and if you're feeling adventurous, pass with the outside LOL. (I failed at this so bad when I first started playing soccer)
what is the chance that i will be the only new player note: this is for 6,7,and 8 grade form my school

Just kick the ball....
Hm. The only thing I can think of when I see new people playing is that a lot of them try to kick the ball too hard, or have exaggerated movements. You don't need to swing your legs like a gunslinger in air to get a nice kick. Just try to keep control. If you kick in a certain direction, the tip of your toe should point in the direction you want the ball to fly.
