Im torn between classes

I'm trying to choose between UA Pally and UA Corsair.

I would love corsair, it has always been one of my favourite classes, however they have no avoid, and no stance.
For any sairs out there, do you find having low hp, no avoid and no stance EXTREMELY interrupting to the gameplay? I mean only stance you get is during dash and that's it.

Also, for Pallies, I'm wondering how much dmg you get in SH. I always adored not being so dependent on potions to survive. How much pots do you use, in say an hour in SH?

Another problem is that I already have a hero -_- would sair bring more variety or advantage to my team of characters?

Even with my max defense and all my buffs at SH, I'm still taking some decent damage on my paladin. And yes I'm quite bored of it at this point too >.>

Maybe a sair would be cool to try

i think its only 1200 nx for the 4 slot increase for use, but even with my ua shad i have difficulties holding pots, scrolls, and mastery books. both characters you mentioned, i thought about making too. my friend said he was bored of his ua pally, but i love that his dmg was really good and hed only get hit for 1 pretty much most the time, i think i only seen him get hit for like 1k once lol. thats a hard choice to make, i can see why youre torn between the 2 cause they both have huge pros and cons. id say flip a coin and heads - sair, tails - pally

UA FP LIKE ME! FLAME GEAR POISON MIST EVERYWHEREEEEEEE

But seriously, it depends how you play.
Since you're a UA, you're going to have less hp than your average explorer who started from lv 1, so you might be better off making a normal paladin.
I find with my corsair after the revamp, stance isnt really needed because you don't even get knocked over that much. Half the time you WANT to get hit to activate pirate's revenge's 40% damage increase.
As for paladin, you'll get skills which can totally nullify damage from weaker monsters.

And as for what Jasonbird1 said with those inventory slots, you don't really need to worry about them because corsairs have infinity bullet, which is soul arrow for bullets.

I find that the UA skill for both pirates and warriors kind of useless once you hit 4th job, BUT NOT FOR F/P. OUR FLAME GEARS MAKE US STRONGER

@Mybullets: so using the octopus actually prevents you from being getting knocked out?
@Jasonbird1: if i were to ever make sair, should i just make normal one, or is the use slots worth the hp boost?

UA Pallys have the best defense.

if you have nx to spare on your UA sair, you will need to buy additional use slots. projectile ua's get the shaft cause you wont be able to hold enough stars, bullets, arrows for decent training and bossing runs. i have a ua NL that im just leaving alone now cause of that problem, so ive been workin on my UA shad. my next one is a UA hero, 1 cause i left my hero in scania, 2 the warrior revamp gives heroes the best attack for the warriors. if you want variety in your gameplay, a Ua sair would be it, but if you want dependabilty and straight up tanking , ua pally would be the way to go

Personally, i find it more challenging. Due to our lack of Hp, it feels like you got to be more focused with your gameplay, while constantly checking your HP.
As for stance, not much of a biggie, i think if you use the 'eight legged euston' at the correct timing, it has a zero knockback ability.
Heres a challenge, that i did for fun,
Went from lvl 50~120 without any armour on my sair.
