We WILL be getting MULTIPLE SP Resets! (READ!)
This is the convo between GM/Developer -Hime- (I forget which one she is):

We were hoping we would be able to surprise our players but due to the concerns raised, we will go ahead and spoil it.
Maplers will be given one free full SP reset item per account!
We are still sorting out how to best distribute the resets without causing difficulties for our players. So please hang tight while we prepare an announcement with more information. Thank you and surprise?

We already know this. You posted it in the patch notes. 1 reset per account will not be enough at any rate. We cannot be satisfied with anything less than 1 per character. But thanks for trying -Hime-.

Only 2 if you are online during the Hot Time, and there isn't only one Hot Time.

Nexon is a flithy company and Hime is just worse.
I'm just glad that I don't have to log in during the Lag of Armageddon on Saturday to reset my SP. Please, God of Nexon's whim, please let them deliver successfully on this.
I really hope this true.
As for the surprise thing, I call BS. They probably saw all the backlash/multiple petitions, and decided they would just have to give up and give us a full one regardless.
What if i cant go on during the events?

Its more of a disappointment because JMS and KMS got full SP resets per character. We only get 1 or 2. Maybe more [b]if we are lucky[/b].

Login at a certain time on a certain day and you get a prize. Usually they don't tell you the time. But some do.

Yeah, that's one thing that I'm worried about too. If it's just 3, then she should say 3, and so on and so forth. I hope they don't think that hiding the number from us serves as some sort of "fun surprise" because it's not, it's just worrisome and unnecessary.
Well, they need to come on with the SP resets. It's bad enough that grinding absolutely sucks for 4th jobs now. But maybe with some new SP I can get a better bossing build going if I don't freakin DC at the boss every time like yesterday -_-.

Erg, I'm not actually sure. That's a good question though, I'd hope it'd be an all day event rather than one that's limited to 1 or 2 hours. Though, since it's called "Hot Time" I'm almost betting that it WILL be during a certain time of day.
Quick question. Is the hot time event any time on saturday? Because I will be at a confirmation retreat from 7 AM - 5 PM and I don't want to log on too late or too early and not receive my SP resets..

Hot Time Event [12.11.2010]: Users who log in during this event will receive a scroll that can be used to reset all SPs on a character. The scroll is tradable to another character on the same account.
o In order to receive your SP reset you must not be in the MTS, Cash Shop, or be on a boat.

And I'll say again that I agree with what you're saying, but this info is merely to share that there will be more than one opportunity to get an SP reset, one of which having nothing to do with Hot Time. -Hime- locked the petition thread on the Nexon forums that was equivalent to the on on Basilmarket because apparently they have no intention of just flat out giving SP resets to everyone.

I never said or claimed that. I'm only trying to let people know that there will be multiple oppotunities to get SP resets. Most of us thought that the only way to get one was from the 1 Hot Time event.
I said that we will be getting multiple SP resets, which we will.
