They are great at everything but survival 1v1 is a comparable to that of a bowmaster maybe a little less, and the powerful mob skill that gets stronger through every monster hit as well as mobility to get to places and move quickly
Basically what everyone else above said: great mob skills, mobility, 1v1 damage, bossing
Wait a minute, I thought nowadays bowmans don't have such low HP anymore, my MM is 166 and she has 11k of HP (with the passive spiritlink frostprey), how come I still hear people complain about the low HP issues. I haven't ran into HP problems so far
They're ridiculously fun!
I don't understand why everyone says they're the worst mobility among the bowmen class. I'm running and jumping around with Pierce, charged or not, launching it midair, landing to use Snipe, throwing my angry puppet everywhere. If it were being compared to Mercedes or Wild Hunters, I'd understand, but Bowmasters are on the floor limited to running around and holding down Hurricane and using Inferno Why the generalization!
When you have maxed Piercing Arrow try to attack big groups of mobs so your damage will multiply.
I like my Marksman more because we hit more lines.
Training is fun.. bossing can be debatable. Just my opinion.
Don't add STR.
Playing as a Marksman is straightforward really...
Just keep in mind that we're archers. We have low HP and we're not meant to rush into a mob and tank hits like the melee classes. That changes a little with Pierce but for the most part, we stay true to our function which is picking off enemies from a distance.
