Are Marauders Really THAT Boring?
I've been looking at the pirate forums lately since I started a pirate a few days ago, but from the looks of it, people don't really enjoy 3rd job...is there a reason why?
My brawler's 63 right now, and it doesn't seem boring at all.
Basically, I was just wondering why do people hate playing marauders but find buccs fun.

I think captain and krews would be good, but I'm not certain.
Just got to level 100, and so far, there hasn't been a boring moment with my marauder yet.
EDIT: Okay, I'm starting to feel the exp curve get harder...

I'd say gallos are better in terms of spawn rate, certainly. Make a decision on personal preference. training spots in maple are much more varied and open, the world is your oyster!

I mean, jesters have less hp and just as much exp, right?

@BlazeLeo: boredom isnt really ever a problem for me because I play when Im bored. since I play with my friends, training is really much of a grind either and marauder has been awesome overall cant wait till bucc tho!

i try to train at dual ghost pirates but i'm easily ksed even if i can 2-3 hit kill them...
70-100 is fun. 101-119 is not so fun. 119-120 is... hell >
5 levels into marauder.
It's actually not as bad as everybody makes it out to be!
I actually think it's kind of fun, of course, not as fun as when I was a CB, but there are few classes that are as fun as a CB in my opinion.

i had to go slow on these levels because my marauder happens to be my first 3 digiter and my most funded( not funded barely funded/ near nothing)
All i have to say is that if ur evur gona start maple as a noob dont go for marauder unless ur gona get nx to zip right through these evil levels.
Just got advanced to marauder.
Hopefully, I'll go bucc.

Ahhhhh... I HATE IT! You get all worked up and then realize: "wow all my skills are selfbuffing". Which is not that bad since if you have trans max and charge max and both activated you get 40+ atk but uh, it gets boring from time to time if you dont have combinations of moves you can use(which will make your experience as a bucc be easier to gain). My advice is: get rid of the 70~120 lvl.s as soon as you can and dont be trapped like most of us got.
No, you don't need Mastery Books for levels 1-10 =D

70-100 as a marauder isn't so bad, but 100-120 is going to be the worst experience of ur pirate life (meaning boring wise)
so far so good.. (lvl 83)
Yea, the first part of Marauder (70-85 ish) was pretty cool, getting that little bar and energy charge, killing weak monster just by tackling them
But once you get to 100+, it becomes...a pain >_<
If you enjoyed playing your brawler, you will like your marauder. I had a ton of fun on him pre BB and he was really strong.
I really enjoy being a marauder, but i have to agree with all that it gets a lil boring because of the moves we currently have. Im getting closer in becoming a Bucc, i cant wait till the fun starts xD
Yea, I have to say that Marauders are quite boring because it takes soooo long to level
You have no ranged moves (aside from energy drain, but thats not a mobbing skill), so you basically spam blast.
BUT, agreed with above, it is well worth it! I just turned to 120 yesterday, and man, Dragon Strike is freakin amazing, even at level 1^^
Super Transformation and Demolition are awesome as well~

It seems like brawlers don't really have any flashy skills until the 4th job.
