Need cheap auto insurance
I can't afford a huge down payment for insurance, First time buying, been on my parents always until now. Any suggestions on what's cheap?

My car got bumped by another car and the insurance didn't cover it.
If you want cheap insurance, just to have insurance, do not go for the big companies you see in TV. Go for the local ones in your state. They may not be as good as the big companies but they would be the cheapest.
I compared prices between
Geico
The General
State Farm
Progressive
Allstate
Direct auto
I'm sure there's one or two I forgot about. but regardless, Progressive was the cheapest.
Geico. 15 minutes can save you 15 percent or more on car insurance.
just use the "it is your fault!" insurance.
I went with progressive.
The $132 a month and no outragous down payment was a life saver. Literally.
Whatever you choose if you raise the deductible aka how much money is insured when you crash the cheaper it gets. But honestly don't crap out on insurance cuz if you crash you can be screwed & if you're a student n have a 3.0 or higher you get a good student discount which helps. I have Triple A but that stuff is not cheap.
