If the Devil punishes bad people doesnt that make Him good?

Think about it.. if the Devil punishes bad people then doesn't that make him good?

If the Devil were truly evil then he wouldn't punish people in Hell, he would hang out with them and treat them like buddies.

Not everyone that goes to hell is bad. People who don't believe in God supposedly go to hell, but that doesn't make them bad. God can admit killers who are sorry for what they did into Heaven, but imo they're bad.

Someone mentioned this a few months ago. Just another thing that doesn't make sense. Just shows if hell does exist it would either be a heaven for the bad people or it's made by God itself and what kind of great god would actually do that.
All that talk about how forgiving God is... but you die - and BAM you're either in heaven or hell. Screw that.
God made everyone with free will, if they chose to be evil its their choice otherwise God would be a dictator.
God could have created the universe however he wanted, he chose to create it where bad would be a possibility, therefore he created evil.

You can have free will without having evil, if you choose between waffles or pancakes you are exercising free will with no consequence of evil, yet God didn't do this, he created evil.

In Paradise Lost, when Satan and his pals are sent to Hell for rebelling against God and co., Hell is described as this vast wasteland, characterized primarily by a lake of fire. The demons are chained to the lake, and I guess they're unconscious or something. Anyway, Satan wakes up, breaks free from his bondage (oh my), and flies to an area that is, presumably, less fiery than the lake. Then, after gathering his amigos together, they assemble in a sort of makeshift clubhouse (I'm not doing this any justice) and talk about what to do next. Then, when it's decided that Satan will go off to Paradise to tempt Adam and Eve, Satan flies into an abyss for a while, searching for a way out of Hell. Meanwhile, the other demons try to create a home for themselves in Hell.

My point is that it isn't all fire and brimstone. The speaker in Paradise Lost often claims that he is brought visions by a muse of some sort. Milton, the author of the poem, was blind when he wrote it -- his daughter, who acted as his scribe, often wrote for him after he woke from a night of intense dreaming. I don't personally believe any of this stuff about heaven and hell, but there is a fair amount of mysticism surrounding Paradise Lost, and its scenes are quite vivid. Some people really think Milton was visited by a muse, who showed him visions of Hell and such. I don't know. Either way, it's hardly described as a giant furnace where Satan spanks you for all eternity.

Relax.
No. Read the Bible. The devil doesn't punish them. The people were sent to "hell" by God. God is the one punishing them. The Devil doesn't do anything.
The devil is just there because God is the one who sent him there as well.
wow, what an asshole
Why don't people in hell team up with the devil and revolt?
That would be something called "The Book of Genesis, Armageddon"

Im was a strong Christian believer and now struggling in my life between Him and sin.
Satan tries to lure you into living a sinful pleasurable life that goes against what God wants you to do.
Then he gets ya.
That whole Satan is also suffering eternally is interesting.

If god is perfect, then why did he create all the bad people including the devil/satan. hmmm

So we all know that The Devil was an angel banished from heaven. In some ancient texts, they elaborate further that The Devil was sent to hell by God to punish the souls of the wicked.
Please dont try and think you know religion
Fun fact; the average atheist knows more about religion than the average religious person.

Please don't try and think I don't.
Well see.. Here I think he is the ultimate sufferer of pain. Although hell is the domain which he resides, I don't think he is leading this place.
My interpretation comes from Dante Alighieri's Inferno.
Yeah, apparently the inner circle of hell is frozen solid due to it being the furthest from gods warm light. Here Satan is frozen for eternity while chewing on the souls of Brutus, Cassius and of course Judus. I can actually believe this more than the idea of him being the all mighty ruler of hell.

What if both God and the Devil is neutral?
God isn't good and The Devil isn't bad
