I didn't know if you meant pot pot or potential or potion.
I have so much use space that that's the only potion I ever use.
On the first or second Christmas event, you had to join the side of Maplemas through Maple Paws or Versalmas with O-Pongo. When Maplemas won, anyone who was on that side got these "orbs" which, when turned into Cody, gave a nice amount of exp based on your level. If you were on the losing side of Versalmas, you got that lump of coal.
Edit : Winning was based on the number of players on each side. Maplemas always wins

Remember the glitch where you filled your use inventory up and kept asking for the reward and you'd get Maplemas Lights 100%? I remember when I used to make so much money before people found out... Ahh, good times. I made like 400m off that event.
