I think Im Being Hacked
Can someone track me in Bera. PirateGLN. Lol, I think someone hacked me. I can't get on right now.
EDIT: So you don't have to sort through the comments to get the story.
Came home and I couldn't login to my account. Checked email, and I saw that last night, at 1030, someone requested for PIC/PW resets. I immediately changed my PW/PIC/Email Password. I got replies from Basilers saying that I'm being stripped ETCETC. Later I got my account back and found out that I lost: 1.6 Bil, 12 Att 9% Dex Empress Hat, Three Evo Rings, 32 att 13% Dex Gloves. And 18% Dex earrings, and a 11 Att Pac. The hacker left my 180 Att Gun, and my 13% Dex Empress Cape.
[b]Another Edit[/b]: Does anybody have a clue, how my empress equips could of been transferred? I've already checked my recent purchase history and there's nothing there. Unless he dropped my equips, then question answered.

@iloveStabs: So sorry for the loss man. I feel you, back in 2009 I got hacked by someone I knew, lost everything.
My advice:
-Scan your computer in safe mode with networking with up to date softwares, Avira and/or malwarebytes antimalware, CCleanner.
-Change your email linked to the account to a new one, preferible GMAIL. (Use the new email ONLY FOR MAPLESTORY, do not link anything else to it)
-Of course change your password and PIC. Password make it +15characters lenght with upper and lower case letters, signs, numbers. PIC make it +8 numbers and letters.
-Do not use the website to launch the game, use always the GameLaunchr (Located usually at C>Program files>Nexon>Maplestory>GameLauncher)
-Do not save your passwords on your browser, setup your browser to clear the cache and cookies every time you close it.
-Not that I saw you do but, do not visit/use hacking sites/softwares, adult sites, etc.
-Do not click any link you don't know on basil, skype or any social media/chat.
-Scan your computer often. (once a month at least).
-Don't visit any link that is too good to be true. i.e: freemesosdotcom, 25kNXgiveaway.net etc.
-Don't share your account to anyone you don't know IRL or that you don't trust 100%. (not that I say you do)
On your account:
-Do not link it to FB.
-Use 2 security questions that the answers are only known BY YOU and ONLY BY YOU that also can't be found anywhere else.

Oh yeah of course its my fault! Didn't of think it back then. But now that I think about it, them having my email couldn't have done anything BECAUSE I recall not having my password/pin being changed back then. So my email, could of been keylogged sometime this week.

Well about 1 year or 2 Years ago, I got hacked before. So my speculation, is that it's the same person! Cause I never changed my email password back then.
@sadface3 the video offers are the only ones I trust. They only go somewhere from 12-64 credits per video and they give you the credits a few seconds after you finish, so I sometimes stop by there a few months or so. The third page and onwards if there aren't easy pickings, now that's where you have to avoid.
I think most 2 digit offers are safe with a handful of 3 digit ones.

Your lucky. I had a hacker delete all of my characters except two.

Although I now know that I'll avoid those nx credit offers for now on. I realized a year ago that they contain some shady business after getting hacked 2 times usually days after doing some of the surveys.

Yes guys I am actually telling the truth. The guy had my email. I checked my emails, and saw in the spam folder the requests for PIC/PW Resets at 1030 last night. . I've changed everything including my PIC/PW/Email password. I lost, my empress Hat which was 12att 9% Dex, Empress gloves 32 att 13% Dex, 1.6Bil, and Evo Rings!

As I recall, I don't think he ever asked for anyone to help him get back up on his feet, so why would it even matter if it's a troll? If people feel the necessity to give him things, so be it.
at least change your pin so he can't log onto any other char

Hi. I know it's not much, but I would like to replace any of the empress equips the hacker might have taken.. minus the cape/weapon (if he took it ) I have some Sharktooth equips hidden somewhere on my account zzz..

I recommend not letting the nexon website remember your password and using the game launcher.
My method for logging in now is saving a long password sitting on my notepad, where I always open it up and copy paste the thing to the log in.
The thing I never knew about making passwords is that they allow any kind of symbol there, so you can put %, -, !, etc etc. Got a 17 length password and not really hacked for the past 9 months I think.
You should repeal this via tickets though. I think they can check where players log if they track IP addresses.

I don't think changing pw/pin will allow him to log in if the hacker doesn't log out himself
