Paladin

Your Page/White Knight Experiences

The title says it all, what did you experience with the jobs leading up to the powerful paladins? I know that pages and white knights aren't used as much as DKs or Crusaders because they arent as strong or dont have an as useful party skill and in my experience, im weaker than those two classes too but i know its worth it cause paladins are the best IMO.

Right now, as a white knight, im being made fun by my friends ( a dexless dit and a 107 ranger ) because my damage is low. It also makes training a little bit harder cause i cant hit high damages to kill monsters.

What are/were your experiences with this class and the road leading up to paladin? Im curious.

To all those who think that they should just quit, patience, heaven's hammer and all those great skills are worth your time spent. ( at least i think they are, i havent gotten there yet ^_^ )

random noob- "What's a Paladin? Is that a type of sin?"

me - "o.O"

The nicest part about being a white knight pre-BB was that I always trained at the unknown maps, such as vikerolas and wyverns. I never got ksed =D

I go through this everyday at Jesters.

Random Person: Hey look a wk, those guys are usually good. Add him to the party.
Random Person 2: HB!
Me: I'm a WHITE KNIGHT, I don't have HB.

When will people learn the darned classes? Jeez...

And damage wise I pretty much have the same damage or out damage most of the warriors I have met that are around my level. So no complaints there.

well wen I was a page dk's wer on top so i just didnt mind it until they day a was ridiculed for just BEING a page they didnt even see my dmg (wasnt weak) so i thought to myself "im pretty sure ALOT of other pages are feeling this way" BOOM paladinpride was made and the ridiculing became actually WANTED lol (yea i kno) and so when wk came around it was like "gotta get stronger gotta get stronger gotta get stronger" and my members at the time had that same feeling, so whenever another warrior class tried to ridicule us we could actually back ourselves up, now that was back then, NOW its VERY more interesting because wk, saders and dk (mostly wk and saders) are like mini paladins and heroes so even if cb hits 4, with CO its 5, brandish hit 2-3 and saders dont have CO, wk having restoration, saders dont, saders have panic (which is cheap to me but still it beats out the wk's dmg with CO) wk dont, so NOWADAYS wk vs sader is almost even(but very fun to watch).

I shared a page with a buddy and eventually I made my own page before 3rd job class came out to vac hack with. I got it to level 98 white knight before I got banned. I remade my page and got to level 158 paladin and quit it recently to cash out on the equips I had since the class became really popular. Now i play my BM, which was my original class anyways. I see 1 paladin for every 1 hero now and yet the paladins still think they are special when they get to 120 in just a few weeks.

Well, getting kicked from PQ's cause i didn't have rage was always cool. I got defamed being a WK/page, but then again a lot more people famed me for being one since it was still pretty 'rare' to see one. I got 3% an hour going from 119 -> 120. Boy, do I miss those days.

Hmm, I was godly funded when i was starting my page, so my damage was still better than most warriors.
So my experiences were pretty good, bc even back then all the priests wanted to gallos with me

As a Page it was tough knowing that I wasn't up to par damage-wise. I knew I had something to look forward to, though, so that was my motivation.

As a White Knight, things got a little better. People were impressed by the damage I did on element-weak monsters. Away from an element weakness, though, I was made fun of.

I got to Paladin about a week ago. Already I can see things looking up. Rush is awesome and I'm really looking forward to Divine Shield and especially Blast.

All round, this class is the most defensive type of warrior by far, and that's how I like it. I like being able to walk up to any boss or monster and take a few hits to see what it has going on with no worry of dying. Not having to use a single HP pot during training is also very nice.
