Only issue I see with this is unmaxed Cold Beam, Slow is useful and all but it's something that could be returned to in 3rd Job, Cold Baam on the other hand is valuable Finisher that freezes. It's unlikely you'd be bossing at that level anyway.

For whatever reason they are nerfing MP eater, so I'd probably go with the build that has 2 Points allocated t owards it. Blizzard definitely comes after Infinity and Elquines.

I did a thread similar to this around the release of the idea of Big Bang. It died when the 'force everything to the Big Bang' forum thing happened, but basically, this is what I had for 3rd job:

1 Ice Strike
3 Elemental Amplification
6 Spell Booster
max Elemental Amplification
max Ice Strike
max Teleport Mastery
max Elemental Reset
max Thunder Spear
max Spell Booster
max Seal
max Partial Resistance
dump points onto Elemental Composition

Since Ice Strike will get max range starting at level 1, there is no point in maxing it first. Maxing Elemental Amplification makes Ice Strike (and everything else for that matter) stronger than maxing Ice Strike, and 3 Amp/6 Booster will outdamage 9 Amp (following the pattern that 3 Amp/11 Booster currently outdamages 14 Amp), so that's what is being done here. Also bear in mind that Spell Booster will also gives its +2 from the get-go, which is why I left it at the minute mark as opposed to putting it to 11 (in which 14 Amp probably would outdamage it after Big Bang). Then we max the skills for optimal Ice Strike damage as I stated, following with Teleport Mastery for more augmented Ice Strike damage (provided you can constantly telecast it and have the skill deal damage to it). From there it's really up to personal opinion. I would drop Elemental Composition, because it overall seems like the least useful skill in the 3rd job book (Seal still probably has some practicalities to it despite getting Teleport Mastery).

Edit: As for 4th job, I'm personally doing this:

1 Chain Lightning/Blizzard/Big Bang
max Chain Lightning
max Magic Mastery
10 Elquines (the minute mark is still here)
max Infinity
Maple Warrior to wherever I can get it
max Ice Demon
max Elquines
max Blizzard
1 Hero's Will
max Big Bang
dump points onto Mana Reflection

i believe in BB, one thing people don't think about when they say how MP Eather will be nerfed is the MP increase monsters will be getting. for example, someone from SW said after BB skeles will have 12kmp, and for a 20% chance of getting 1.2k ..
You can imagine the reason for the nerf now.

I am really not understanding why you are maxing seal.

@Marc19X9: I would rather have the useless Seal than the much more useless Elemental Composition.

yeah from i think Spadow said....i think he said monsters now get like x10 MP than what they have before BB so yes that would result in the nerffing of MP Eater otherwise it would just be way toooo OP haha

What a late reply. >_>
I've considered Cold Beam to be rather useless, even for newbie I/Ls. Like with first job, you won't find yourself in a lot of situations where you'll need a 1v1 skill. I didn't anyhow. As for MPE, it's like Cold Beam, but slightly better on my consideration list. With how it is after BB at least, you'll almost never use MP potions while training. It's understandable that it was nerfed.

2 monsters - 36%
3 monsters - 48.8%
4 monsters - 59.04%
5 monsters - 67.232%
6 monsters - 73.7856%

And factoring in that 99% of the time you will be hitting more than 1 monster, it's not all bad.

Especially if you're already in 4th job. Chances of using Cold Beam instead are rather... slim.

@Kalemora: I wouldn't even use Cold Beam in 2nd job lol
