@Kalemora: I wouldn't even use Cold Beam in 2nd job lol
I probably wouldn't either honestly. Maybe once in a while just to marvel at how nice it looks.

What a late reply. >_>
I've considered Cold Beam to be rather useless, even for newbie I/Ls. Like with first job, you won't find yourself in a lot of situations where you'll need a 1v1 skill. I didn't anyhow. As for MPE, it's like Cold Beam, but slightly better on my consideration list. With how it is after BB at least, you'll almost never use MP potions while training. It's understandable that it was nerfed.
Yea, I was unaware of the MP Boosts to monsters postBB, I'd definitely go with the MP Eater build.

I would actually agree with you in the most part with your choices so far, Alice. My build for 4th would be something like this -

Max CL -> Durrr.
Max Magic Mastery
Max MW
Max Infinity
Max Elquines / Non-maxed ID followed by max Elquines - What level of ID I haven't decided - This is primarily a bossing build and the purpose of ID is to provide supplementary DoT. Otherwise Elquines for supportive DPM.
5 Hero's Will
Max ID (or finish maxing if you started before)
Max Blizzard
Max Mana Reflection

I will explain my choices in a second, take a look and tell me what you think.

Looks decent, I'll add yours with kirbyhyper's as soon as I get the whole extra SP thing sorted out.
Curious though, when are you going to max Big Bang? O_o

Me like.
I could walk into the other room and ask, but why are you in the I/L section? o_o;

This guide really looks like an actual guide now. Everything looks great and the builds are great. I like the inclusion of Elemental Staves vs Wands and the Restructure Patch changes. On a side note, I heard that Maple Warrior 20 drops from regular monsters and Maple Warrior 30 still drops from a boss (HT?), so I would say that most people would not be able to afford MW 30.

Thank you. ^^
To the MW 30 issue, I did add a note before the 4th job builds about mastery book availability. I'm going to leave what they'll do to the player because each individual is in a different situation and they can probably figure out how to adjust to it better than I can.

My reasoning is simple - It's the fastest, strength-building bossing build I can think o. Max CL to get your main attack maxed ASAP. Magic Mastery boosts the effectiveness of your buffs and provides an additional 30 M.Att - Boosting your top-end and low-end damage even further. Maple Warrior is next for an overall damage increase, increased MP upon level-up and a useful party-skill low-level. Infinity is maxed next due to it's bossing capabilities - 1 out of 3 minutes your damage rises in an insane crescendo - A necessity for any bosser.

Ice Demon here is iffy - It will still deal 15 seconds (I believe) of DoT at a low-level. I'd get it to 5-7 (I believe 7 is 3 targets?) as a way of having DoT to assist with bosses that stun / M.Def up. Since it's spammable it's easy to maintain the DoT unlike Blizzard.

If not, we move on anyhow. Elquines is up next - Again, bossing build, more DPM. Hero's will follows, for seducing bosses. (By now you're 160+ so those kinds of bosses you should be familiar with.) Max Ice Demon for maximal DoT & also a nice, fast, elemental mobbing skill. Big Bang follows, its applications are somewhat limited currently, although revisions may be made based upon how effective it is in bossing post-BB. Finally blizzard for its raw power / DoT (You may have wanted to get 1 point in it earlier on (fair enough), and mana reflection brings up the rear.

+1 Big Bang (Optional)
+1 Blizzard (Optional)
+30 Chain Lightning (Maxed)
+10 Magic Mastery (Maxed)
+30 Maple Warrior (Maxed)
+30 Infinity (Maxed)
+7(Optional) Ice Demon
+30 Elquines (Maxed)
+5 Hero's Will (Maxed)
+25 Ice Demon (Maxed)
+29(If added earlier) Big Bang (Maxed)
+29(If added earlier) Blizzard (Maxed)
+18(No one likes Mana Reflection) Mana Reflection (18)

According to Google Translate, it hits 3 monsters at level 8 and starts doing 15 seconds of DoT at 21, 10 at 11. F1
Adjust accordingly? ;o
