@FlashyFlash: Oh... yeah, that skill is sure nice

Well, my very very very first character was a theif because I liked the ninja-ness and awesomeness.Loved it.
Second character was a Mage, made it to cleric cause it seemed like it would help a lot of people.Disliked it, not hate, disliked.
Third I made a warrior, made it into a fighter because I saw a pro sader pwning at Henesys Hunting ground, inspired me. Loved it.
Fourth I made a bowman, didnt reach anything because I didnt like re-arrowing and stuff, but I thought they were pretty strong.Liked it.
Fifth I made a Dawn Warrior, thought it would be pretty cool and stuff with the holy and the wa-bam, soul driver. Liked it.
Sixth I made a Warrior again, I made it into a spearman cus I thought they'd be strong and help people so both warrior and mage reasons.Average.
Seventh I made a pirate, I liked the way brawlers looked so I made one and I thought I would til I heard they sucked so I stopped.Disliked it.
Eighth I made Dualblade to try it out, I liked the skills and it was pretty easy, was called a noob and a kser when I was just sitting on a platform and stopped.Average.
Now I remade both my Theif and my Warrior because I liked them the most, I thought I might make a buccaneer and bowman or corsair but still deciding on them some because of friends.

Never made a CK so I thought I'd try. Plus I thought I should make a mage because I wanted to go farther with another mage w/o all the work.

I liked pirates...there so...flexible... >:3 and i love a versatile weapon ^_^

i wanted to make a hero that not too many people see, so i made a 1h axe hero

Cleric: heal, HS, Genesis

DB: Mainly cause the skills looked cool.
Fighter: Friends and cousins: GEEZ WE NEED A RAGER D:

Through testing, trail and errors. First made a Sin but stars got too expensive for me. Than I made a Hero and turns out I hate melee classes. Than I made a I/L, but than they attack weak as hell. Next I made a Bishop, and it turns out they're in the same boat as I/L. Than I made a DB, and found out that they suck at 4th job. Now I'm working on getting my Corsair to 4th job. If this fails, I'm going to make a BM next. All my characters are 4th jobs.

Cool skills I seen them high levels use in HHG back when the only monsters there were green mushrooms orange mushrooms slimes snails and shrooms.

Bishop: I enjoy playing mages and support classes
Slinger: Fast and fun attacker, like the mobility
Aran: Fast, fun melee attacker
Evan: mage with excellent move variety

My future battlemage: fast, melee attacking mage with good support skills

Aran - Looked cool in class selection
Brawler - I ask what class has lots of different attacks.
Wind Archer - Storm Break

I was watching my friend play maplestory before I even got started, and I saw a bandit using savage blow. Needless to say I found the skill looked cool which got me hooked on my bandit.

i chose bandit because i liked close range stuff and it was the closest thing to being a NINJA :O

anyway, OT: i chose archer as first class (in fact, my avatar is my very first character, when i started playing like 5 years ago) because of many things:
1. I love bow and arrow
2. I love wolves, and wolves are hunters, and well, a "coincidence" one of the 2nd Job Advancements was called [b]Hunter[/b]
3. I love fire element, and well, [b]Ranger[/b]'s element is fire

I chose a bandit because when this game came out waaaay long ago, they had job descriptions on the website along with skill names.
I went to bandit.
SAVAGE BLOW SIX SLASH FURY.
Enough said.

I just like the general Idea of an assassin/bandit/dual Blader. Sneaking up on you during the night. Climbing in yo' windows and snatchin yo' people up, etc.

i choose classes for mobility
i dont like classes that crawl around like a snail
speed > dmg imo

1.) I like mages.
2.) There's a giantfreakingblackglowingblueauradragon.

I pursued to make a Hero because I found it unique and cool to see the orbs circling my character

Tried to make a mage but clicked the dualblade button but now i am glad i messed up

Made an Aran, got tired of it b/c of crappy reliability with surviving and rushing bosses. Then I saw all the great boosts Paladins got post-BB. Then I realized Paladins look sort of fun to play even before BB, so I made one

Holy arrow... because in the good old days this was a kick ass skill.

When I first saw savage blow almost five years ago...

Shadow Partner + Triple Throw = Win

I started 3 years ago on this character. I chose it for the ORBS ORBS ORBS so fun

i made a WA one day and i though wait i should try xbows so i mad a adventurer bowman i bought a xbow and i thought they were epic and here i am today and still loving it.

A little after beta I started on scania and made a warrior who made it to level 16. I thought back then that stats had to go in everything. So yes I was a fail warrior, I ended up getting stuck in sleepywood. When this 9x Chief Bandit helped me and was so nice. Since then I had a pure love for Chief Bandits and wanted to be one and I've been just as helpful to people just as she was to me.

I liked the Bowman class, but hunters were overplayed and crossbowmen (at that time) were rare and thought to be weak, so I tried it out. I never regretted it afterwards.

I like to be intelligent, so I chose Magician. (Sadly, that did not yield or demonstrate any intelligence on my part).

Then I chose Cleric because there were very few at the time, and I thought it would be cool to save potion costs. Back then, 3rd job was far from being released, so Holy Symbol and all that had no influence on me at the time.

I've recently decided to focus on mages from now on, that way I can just transfer equips in between each character when I need them. This way I save mesos.

I chose Evan because I thought it was fun after playing a while, and it's also my first character I've ever managed to get over 100+

well this was my 1st char i made in june and my friends like wut job u want. im like the one with the guns. lol

I made a hermit because I had a maple claw, kandayo and skanda on my cleric o.o

I came back to play maple after a long break and I picked Bera because I thought the symbol looked the best.
Elite00 was sitting there at lvl 17 and I decided to pick it up

I choose mine when it first came out i wanted something diffrent

I was gonna be an I/L because you know, level 8 = mage lolololol
But then this guy on noob island was like "NO NO BE A PAGE DOOD" and I was like "AW YEAH" and then I noticed they're mainly axe users so I was SADFACED. So I was like "NO" and then I became a fighter after restarting once due to the fact I had LUK/INT.
