Should I buy a year pass for PokeBank?

I want to transfer over some pokemon, but as you know, it cost $5 for a year pass.
However, my friend bought a pass and so I can use that as well.

But it's not very efficient because I would have to meet with him at Mcdonalds to use the wifi there (since our school blocks our wifi). Currently, I don't have enough time to go back and forth.

So, should I just buy it myself or try to make the best of using my friend's PokeBank?

Keep in mind that I'm still a bit underage and money doesn't come to me easily. I'm already starting to save for the next pokemon game. Also, it's not easy for me to go to Gamestop or any place that sells those Nintendo cards.

1. Pokemon > McDonalds because McDonalds is unhealthy af for you.

2. Can't you just buy it through the store on your 3DS? o.o I haven't tried but it would make sense that you could put in your credit card, buy the credits or whatever, then spend them on the year membership..

Well, since of May 20th, I havent even opened my PokeBank since I couldn't do gen service anymore. If you have B/W2 and an AR you could buy it and gen pokemon via code. You would probably need to use the AR Code Manager with the little 6" cable they gave you so then you can just copy and paste walls of china code. Also its worth it if your a competitive player and you need B/W2 tutor moves for certain pokemon.

Ok guys, I guess I'll try to buy it, but not now. So for now, I'm gonna use my friends because I really have no choice.
I would lock this thread, if I could.

I spent $5 just today on coffee Boy, you can get 5 bucks quit playin'. The fact that you have access to a McDonalds, a bike, a ds, worries concerning TRANSFERRING POKEMON (are you forreal? you act you cant pay your rent or something) and games suggests that you do not live in a 3rd world country. If your parents connot afford to give you the money for the luxury of transferring pokemon then sit your ass down and wait until you can afford it smh the nerve...

@Symphs hmmp. 12 hours is a good ass nap if you ask me

I don't know where you guys live, but $5 bills aren't everywhere. I've actually never found that much money on the ground. Some $1 bills, but that's it.

And the distance to buy them is also a problem. Mcdonald's is easily 2 minutes by bike from my school. Gamestop, however, is 10 minutes and that's just the trip there. The round trip would obviously be 20 minutes. Again, it takes too long to go back and forth.[/quote]
theres a starbucks like 17 minutes away from my house and lord knows i walk for that iced chai

M8, taking the bus from my house to school takes 30 minutes. AND I HAVE TO DO DIS TWICE. THATS ABOUT AN HOUR. AND I HAVE TO DO IT 5 DAYS A WEEK.

Oh my god

it's 5 bucks bro are you for real? you would rather go to a mcdonalds with your friend to use his instead of spending 5 bucks for a year membership. money doesnt come easy? as @Avatar said, u can literally find $5 on the ground.

You can't save up $5? You can find that much on the streets if you look carefully.
