Yea it's stupid. Also the stamp that you got says that you participated a certain event and in the next patch that stamp suddenly changed and it shows that you participated a different event compared to the previous one.
I think it's a stamp for the event card. You can view that in your event tab. In that window you will find a orange button with a box as icon.
