CartoonNetwork and Toonami

CartoonNetwork has really been getting better lately. Young Justice, Star wars, Thunder cats, Green Lantern, Ben 10. They been bringing pretty interesting and entertaining things. I'm glad they are starting to get the picture that they were sucking for the last few years.

They have also been doing stuff for the old school viewers. Recently they just brought back shows like cow and chicken, Dexter labs, Johnny bravo, ect back to their main channel. I think it's a part of a hour long thing called cartoon planet or something. so that's another positive thing they've been doing.

But the biggest thing is that on Saturday night i was watching and they brought Toonami back. THE TOONAMI,it had the original cool TOM not in the weird bug robot form. At 12.00 they played Bleach, then the original DBZ not kai with all it's weird jap music and lost content. And later they played Gundam wing plus prob some more nice old school anime. I was really surprised and happy. Hopefully it wasn't a sick Aprils fool joke crafted by adult swim.... BUT HA ZA TOONAMI IS BACK!

Hopefully they put Naruto Shippuden on there because it sucked when it was on Disney XD. They even censored the shiruken hitting people by showing white flashes of light? Seriously....

Here is a little footage from last night.

They need to get that one announcer, Optimus prime's voice actor to do one of these for Ichigo, it would (and i don't like saying this word) be epic.

Edit: I think it was a Aprils fools joke but if you keep bumping this thread, and show some support on Steven Blum's face book page they might make some changes. SO keep this thread alive.

It is funny. Imagine how they would show Susake crushing Danzo and him exploding and blood splattering everywhere. Or when Kisamie had his own sharks eat him...They probably would of just skipped those episode.

I don't like that Green Lantern show they added. It looks lame.

And they kind of just shoved Thunder Cats somewhere else a few weeks after its release. Doesn't come on like at only 5 a.m. or something?
I wish they would move Pokemon to a later time.

You're thoughts on Teen Titans, Justice league, and the new Green Lantern? As well as Thunder Cats if you're into that.

Do you guys know that they still show shows like Dexter's Lab, Cow&Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo and PowerPuff Girls on channel 125? Well it's channel 125 for me but it's called Boomerang. Oh and they also show Teen Titans and some other old cartoons.
I don't get Boomerang, unfortunately.
Me either, I don't feel like paying more money for shows that could have stayed on longer on CN.

Courage the Cowardly Dog still airs sometimes.
Toonami will never be back. Really its just a shell of its former glory. Now if they retro it back to the late 90s then ill admit that toonami has returned
They did have retro stuff on there. 90's anime.
I used to love watching that BoBoBo show they had.

I wish they would bring back Teen Titans. That was seriously the best show ever and they decided just to cut it off.

Also, they need to drop Johnny Test. I hate that show with a passion and it's pretty much the only thing they air all day. Ugh, it is beyond cheesy and the style is horrendous.
Agreed, Teen Titans was amazing. Voice acting was great, great action, great story, great comedy, great villains, great music GREAT EVERYTHING. I just rewatched the whole series on Boomerang last month. They should two episodes a night. The reason they canceled it was because they didn't plan on another season. They started on it then they just kinda... left us. They do do Teen Titans shorts on DC nation on CartoonNetwork on Saturday mornings. Young Jusctice is sorta like Teen Titans but a lot more serious. Both are amazing shows, i just miss TT.

And i also agree. Johnny Test is some ass.

Good Grief.
It's too bad I can't get Cartoon Network here

Toonami is most likely not back. If they did choose to bring it back, why would they decide to do so on April Fool's day?

I hated Ben10, Chowder and a bunch of those other new shows like that Generator Rex thingie.

Adventure Time is bizarre but surprisingly interesting, and The Regular Show practically thrives off the meta-humor the internet is known for.

CN needs to keep trying, but at least they're better off than the crap on Nick or Disney.
