Ahh, some good %s there =). That should help you decide, but you'll need to use atleast 1 70/30 before you chaos.

I said in the future, use a 90% adv potential scroll after you scroll it (if you read my first post as well). And using 3 70% scrolls is more risky than using one 90% adv pot...

I was wondering the same thing. I have a clean 8%luk maple thief shield.
I just decided to accumulate money slowly for 12 60% shield atts, wait for vegas, and try my luck.

What I'm doing:
Get a 3 lined Last UWG Warrior Shield/VIP
Then a 70% on it, then chaos.
I had bad experiences with 70%'s ....
Had a 3 lined Last Warrior Shield, then a 70%.. It worked! So another 70 on it ... BOOM

You told me not to use a 70% on an atk shield. I have no atk shield; I'm trying to make one.

Read what I said, I was advising you not to pot scroll before you normal scroll in the future.

And I would 30% first scroll, then 70% 2 more, then 60% rest. But it's a high chance of failing/blowing with first 3 scrolls.

@ivegonenuts: [i]Yes[/i], potential scrolls blow up regardless of failing or passing. If a potential scroll has a 70% chance of passing, then it has a 30% chance of blowing up. I'm saying that a 70% shield atk scroll will blow up with a lower probability because it only has a 50% chance to blow up [i]if the scroll fails[/i]. Ok?
@ronny278: I haven't [i]scrolled[/i] it yet, it's [b]clean[/b]. I'm asking [i]how[/i] I should scroll it for atk, not whether I should use a 70% or a 90% potential scroll; that part is done. Ok?

I wouldn't use a 70% potential on an attack shield LOL, use a 90%

I didn't want to end up with a 2 line shield, and shield atk scrolls are way more expensive than potential scrolls.
Plus, a 70% has a 0.30*0.50 = 15% chance of blowing up.
A 70% potential scroll has a 30% chance of blowing up. What are you talking about? ._.
Regardless, I have the potential, but know I'd like to know the best bang for my buck.

Stats on 3 lined, and I would have potted after scrolling because it may blow up (higher chance blowing with scrolling than pot).
