I rejected a girl

Chat Forum Talk about topics not related to MapleStory

Quick Exposition, i met a girl of my age through a site, we talked a bit and got to know each other over time as well as becoming close friends. Recently she confessed to me that she had feelings for me and wanted a relationship, i gently rejected for many reasons (Physical and Emotional barriers/problems as well as i don't hold any feelings beside friendship) During the text i did feel a sense of breaking down from her diction.

Now here's the Question

What do i do now? How do i handle the relationship and what is your experience about these things?

Just keep being her friend unless she makes it awkward.

Best thing to do is to be honest with her and give her time. As long as she knows you're willing to be her friend and willing to give her the time she needs to 'get over you'. At least thats my opinion.

Just act like normal and keep in mind your actions when youre with her to make sure you dont give her mixed signals. If it gets awkward give it a little time and let her know that you still want to be friends. Just remember, its only awkward if you make it awkward.
