Freshmen taking Pre-Calc? That's really hard to believe...
I was placed in Advanced Algebra (Algebra 2) last year while I was still in middle school along with a few other people out of the one hundred fifty people.
If it helps, I'm Asian? =D
I'm also in math club =3

@jaesang0: I don't use textbooks just yet...
I might have to some day soon though.
I intend to major in pure maths, but not exactly topology.

As of now, only basic math, logic (Redstone), and algebra are useful to me.
When am I ever going to need to prove two shapes are identical, or what a glide reflection is?

Trig is alright for now I guess.
freshman in college, not a math major, but taking Multivariable Calculus and Differential Geometry next semester

If you think high school geometry and proofs are bad, college geometry is death. You have to learn all kinds of proof techniques (proof by induction, proof by construction, etc.), as well as have a strong background in mathematical analysis and algebra
AHH, I don't even know how to prove that a rhombus is a parallelogram LOOOL.

@Totos: Well I've always just had a thing for math . Also I think we finished parallelograms but I'm not sure lol, my momery is all just a blur. I think we're going to go to the topic of Similarities as the 1st topic of the semester.
