MS2 Beginners Removed?

So you no longer start as beginner in MS2?.. You choose your class off the bat? When did this happen and what's the rationale? I was surprised by how much I ended up liking the style of the game, and the combat, but having no perma beginners is flat out disappointing. What doesn't make sense is that on the class screen it still shows the "beginner", but it's grayed out.

I suppose its to prevent that unfairness in MS1. When people who would pick bowman/mages/thieves would have a hell in maple island.
While warrior would be happily having a head start with their str.

Or possible bugs involving getting a job after level 8 or 10 (less stats, quest bugs, items, etc), this was a huge problem because GMS had a ton of non english speakers, that found out about job or 2nd job much later when they were supposed to

@readers: that makes sense, i just found it bizarre that they kept beginner on the class selection screen ( pic related: http://i.imgur.com/sQTvDPm.jpg ) and that they even had one to begin with, which had its own beginner skills just like in MS1

I don't know about that, but I don't think Nexon ever had the intention of making perma beginners a thing. When they were designing the original MS, they probably never had the thought that people wouldn't job advance at all and play the game as a beginner, intentionally or unintentionally.

So if they didn't want perma beginners for MS2, that's probably the rationale why. By not allowing it, the gameplay becomes a more streamlined process and you can actually experience the rest of the content that is offered in the game - or at least that's what I imagine Nexon's justification would be.
