Will this damage my laptop?

So pretty much, I lost my original adapter for my laptop, which the battery says "10.8V, 5400 maH or something", while this power adapter is a 19V, 3.42A output. Will it surge and overload it?

@TickleMeChad: Yeah just checked up on it. It needs a 19V, 4.7A (90Watt adapter) The current ones I have (bloody 3 of them to be honest), are all 19V, 3.43A resulting in a 65Watt adapter, which means that the laptop will overdrain it. Thanks for the help!

my model is the A53SV, my brothers laptop is the K50AB, both of which are listed on this "replacement adapter" the one he's using right now is a 19V adapter.
Thats kinda strange that its listed as a replacement if its that much higher o-o I wouldn't trust it still

Having higher than +/- 5% V can cause your computer to have problems. I suggest you get an 11V or 10V one.
I believe it would be very unhealthy for the laptop. The new power adapter is 19 v and the laptop was only meant to handle the voltage of the adapter that came with it.
