@trips486:

Who ever said you absolutely need FJ? Again, if you correctly read my previous posts you will see that I have said those with a slower playing style can do just fine without FJ, but I PERSONALLY cannot. Please evaluate what you post before you do so.

Ok I'm level 75 right now and my skill points are Max FJ/1 TS/5 FA/Max US/4 BS/10 MI
I'm too poor for skill book and so far the build works great. I just use FA to mob the monster togeather and finish them off with US/BS

I did 1 Flash Jump until after I finish maxing FATSUS, OWL SPIRIT, BS, and.. yeah then I max Flash Jump then did Flash Bang.. etc.

@trips486:
It's not all about training however. FJ affects one more outside of training than in training for a DB. That's what counts. Tens of levels of very convenient FJ travel as opposed to waiting those tens of levels to get it.
If you are just using FA and FJ with out any combos such as FABS or FATSUS then you will be training extremely slow since FA has a delay at the end of it. Still though think getting FABS and FATSUS asap is more useful for training then max FJ. If your training at gallos or himes it very helpful to have one of those combos.
If you read my other post correctly you would see I did mention the importance of FABS and how you could train very quickly with it right at level 70 because with the build I mentioned you would have max BS and over level 10 FA.
Thats different since NLs are range and as of now cant attack up close. Thus needing the more mobility then DBs. DBs however, can attack up close since there melee and they don't need much mobility as NLs do. Meaning that lvl 9 or lower is enough FJ for them. I still think US, MI, FA, and BS/TS are much more useful at early 7x-9x then max FJ.
That's not what I meant. I made no direct comparison in that NL = DB.
I have been playing an NL for 5 years, therefore my playing style dictates I need my mobility skill on any job I play (FJ, teleport, soul rush, etc.) and that I personally have never found the need for FATSUS or been in a situation where having FATSUS would have significantly increased my training. However if one has a slow playing style like that of a warrior, by all means get lvl 1 FJ, however I have found lvl 20 FJ more useful than early maxing of other skills because it helps training (I FJ-> backwards FA ALOT especially off platforms) and helps general mobility through towns or maps TREMENDOUSLY.

If you've played a NL for 5 years as I have, max FJ, then max BS, 1 US, 1 mirror, the rest into FA
Then shortly after max FA, 11 mirror, max US, max TS, then figure the rest out.

It's enough FA to use FABS at 70. Mirror isn't a necessity, so waiting a few levels before getting it to 11 is no big deal. All you need is FABS at 70 to start leveling fast. Then continue the path. FATSUS isn't a gigantic plus unless you are training at very specific maps (himes) and at the point where hime training is effective, you will have TS maxed already. I much prefer the VERY useful max FJ early on due to my playing style.

However if you were one of those NWs that maxed critical immediately before booster, then barely added haste and booster at like level 60, you might want to consider a slower more dull playing style.

I haven't once regretted maxing FJ early and have had zero problems training. If anything it's faster for me.

Get 1 FJ. You don't really need the distance yet; saving the SP and/or maxing Tornado Spin would be much more worth it. (i recommend you max TS; it helps A LOT in training at Tornado Corridor and lets you use FaTs right at 70). XD
