Imagine if this happens
Imagine if Nexon asks its players to donate 10$(each player) so they can buy better, more stable servers from a trustworthy server-hosting company and so they can get better coders and anti-hacking professionals.
My expectations on what will happen: Assuming there are one million(1,000,000$) active maplestory players with one hundred thousand(100,000) of them having a credit card or another way of payment but only fifty thousand(50,000$) of those who have the money and the possibility to pay are willing to. After that happens Nexon will have five hundred thousand dollars(500,000$) which is enough to get amazing servers and better workers.
Would you pay?

This is why Wikipedia is not a reliable source.
Nexon's Net income is already roughly at 331million USD ([url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexon_Co._Ltd.]source[/url]) so with it being as it already is, if they really cared about the player base then they would've done it a long time ago. Sadly, it doesn't seem like they do.
