Is 8% crit pot on a weapon worth keeping?

General MapleStory Forum Talk about MapleStory in general

BetterThanYou Level 181 Kradia Paladin
It's a 214 (174 +40) Loveless Aes Hand whose pot just became +8% crit. Should I keep it and wait for the new star enhancement system?

Well, the weapon itself isn't worth keeping, so the potential suits it I guess? You're going to replace it with a Fafnir later anyway.

Is a faf staff worth replacing 8% crit, though? It is rather good pot.

I see even this level of subtlety goes right over your head. Okay, let's be blunt.

Your weapon is terrible. Your weapon's potential is terrible. Get rid of them both and replace them with a Fafnir cubed for % boss/magic att.

I like how you assume he has billions of mesos to just throw around.

well hes asking us if the pot is worth cubing, which means he has access to cubes. And people who can afford cubes are most likely rich..... so thats why he assumes.
unless hes talking about the free 1 cube we got.

@freezenlight: Except if someone was rich, they'd probably be using a Fafnir instead of an epic potted Loveless in the first place.

I like how you assume he's dirt poor. See how two can play at that game?

He asked whether a potential was good. I'm not going to waste my time standardizing the definition of "good", I'm just going to give him the answer from my perspective. If you think I'm wrong, by all means, let us hear your obviously superior opinion?

As someone else pointed out, if you're too poor to afford Fafnir, you're too poor to cube.

In that case, they should be criticized for even asking the question of keeping the potential or not since the cost of 2-3 cubes is about equal to a fafnir.
Also, you don't need to be "rich" to buy yourself a clean fafnir weapon.

I just found out that they had a recent price drop. Before, it was routine for them to cost 2b.
