Sadly, I don't listen to modern music.
So the most mainstream musician I listen to is probably Beethoven.
I haven't really heard anything by him (other than the obvious Baby), but I like Justin Bieber because I think he's cute.
Nicki Minaj, One Direction and Justin Bieber.

Adam Levine, Ryan Tedder, and a few others that don't come to mind.
Mainstream sucks because it's a recycled formula for music that's receives so much attention through heavy over advertising that non mainstream appreciative people can't get away from it. Absolute garbage.

I only listen to dead musicians. I can honestly say all the music I listen to is underground!
...Uhm, I listen to the typical pop artists you hear on the radio. After I hear their songs for the fiftieth time, though, I lose interest and have to rage every time I hear it. Familiarity breeds some hardcore screaming contempt.

I love Ne-Yo's older stuff, but I haven't liked anything of his since his Libra Scale album came out. I checked out Frank Ocean's music not too long ago (because he references my school in Novacane) and now I'm hooked.

You realize that those are some of the most mainstream metalcore bands out there, right? And, coming from someone who listens to metal, I greatly dislike metalcore... most of it is "just noise" to me.
OT: I don't listen to many mainstream singers, but I like a few songs by Lana Del Rey.

Don't hate me. I really do love music and listen to what I like (which is why I LOVE country), just not the kind of thing David Guetta does or Nicki Minaj's stuttering. I don't call all that electric stuff music, ya know? It's quite annoying, imo.

Seriously, I don't get why people still say that his voice is higher than a guy with his kintama kicked back into the inside of his body 'cause his voice is HEAPS different from before. JB is a nice guy (he donates a huge heap of money to charity) but this is overshadowed by him saying some dumbass comment on some radio interview (why do you have to be so stuck up ).
