what Tcg booster packs to look for, for rare pets?

thinking of hitting up a store nearby me, which sells maplestory TCG cards. heard that you could get codes for rare pets, such as a skunk and what not. in what booster packs do they come in, that I should look for?

iTCG Behold Zakum does not have a way of distinguishing pets codes from other codes, so you won't be able to sell them.

The only set that allows for this is Set 2 (Bosses!) and 3 (P3ts!), which cannot be found in dollar boxes.

The new Crimsonwood Forest reversion also makes all iTCG from set 5 worthless, unless you're looking for pets.

tl;dr Unless you're looking for pets for yourself, it's not worth your time and money.

Just because they aren't being produced anymore doesn't mean there's no available packs out there...
No. You can still find them in the "dollar assorted sports card packs" box at many Target stores. Some hobby shops still have a few packs floating around the store, too.
