To All Dark Knights and anyone who cares about them
After wandering around the Warrior and Spearman branch in particular I've witnessed lots of negativity and turmoil about the current Dark Knight. So I wanted to take us all back for a brief moment in the past of how much love, excitement, and attention Dark Knights once had. Hopefully this might reignite not class pride or class ego, but class passion. Along with a second look and thought to consider towards Dark Knights.

So my point is let's cut down on how much we've been all focusing on the weaknesses, the shortcomings, the disadvantages, and the bad. So we could all see the good things Dark Knights offer (not restricted to gameplay). This thread might come back to haunt me and will be flooded with rage, contradictions, and arguments of the current Dark Knight compared to all other warriors and / or to let go of the past. However this isn't about the past or what we had or what we did. It's about appreciating the positive feeling the excitement the sentimental value and good times you've had with your Dark Knight.
Show your Dark Knight appreciation, express why you keep with it, not what you regret or what tweaks we need. What still drives you to strive for the class?

It's impossible to Roar too much, especially 'right after job adv' where the CD is high

- liked them since i started maple (even when i wasnt playing one)
- wanted a change for starting fresh in gms after maining a bish without using mguard. Was ready for the pot burn & all but lol the drains rly nice xD
- spearman was boring imo & all i wanted was to get to dk so i ludi pq-ed daily as the quickest way, so i obviously do not deserve any pats on the back like the warriors pre-bb.
- dk was so fun i remember dying at hectors right after job adv for roaring & sac-ing too much.
- drks same as fun & it rly makes sense why i see so many lv200 drks around.
- loving spears being dks icon weps, loving signature zerk horns, little buddy beholden & all atk skills.
Yes I like to thrust verrry robustly.

most of the dark knights i've seen in my time were all respectful
unfortunately most of us keep to ourselves these days
People don't ask about my dammage most of the time because they know it sucks

Everyone misunderstands tentacles... What they miss in all the r*pe is that the ribs are for her/his pleasure. The goo is just to smooth out the ride. The tentacles are happy when your body is happy. Maybe one day society will accept tentacle love... I believe we all have the civil right to be loved by tentacles!

I was happy with My DrK's damage, 140K crits with a 65% crit rate is fun. Pretty even damage. It made me happy. Then my friend came back. I was on my battle mage and used ADA on him. with a 17k attack range he was hitting 90k crits with Raging Blow. He is 166, i'm 200 (as you can tell from my character XD)
I still prefer my DrK to any class i've played.
We all still love our DrKs, thats not the problem, its that [b]Other classes are increasing the Gap between them and us by leaps and bounds.[/b]
But ya, the reason i keep playing it is because i love the class. I love logging on and summoning beholder, watching its one eye look at me. laughing as things take a ton of damage when they touch me. Happy that after years i don't have to worry about grinding or getting exp. My Drk was my first character and i have a lot of loyalty to it. If i didn't have it i would have probably quit a long time ago. I've tried making a page/fighter but i deleted those within a day or two because i can't grasp them the same way i can my DrK. My DrK just feels more like its Me than any other class i've touched. I make a new character and think about where my DrK was at that level. It is my reason that i play maple. More than the community and the friends i have made. A single character is my reason for playing the game.
