Empress set with Vip sword or non-empress str?
Hey guys, I'm sure similar threads to this have been made many times but I feel like my situation is like of special. I currently have a 14x hero and the only end game equip I have for him is his 198 att 1h vip sword with 30% boss, 6% crit, and 15% pdr. I'll definitely be using this sword to infinity and beyond, and getting an empress sword is out of the question.
My question is, would it be more cost efficient as well as better for my damage if I used the full clean empress set minus the weapon or should I just ditch empress armor and get full out %str?
I already have everything in the empress set minus the cape, which I'm sure I can afford after selling some things. As for %str armor or non empress armor, I currently have a 6% str bottom, 11 attack SCGS and a 5 att balloon for my cape.

Most gmed and enhanced scrolled vip one h swords are duped at least in Broa and might get wiped. I'd say go full empress. There really isn't much of an excuse not to. Sure a top/ bottom gives extra potential but with the upcoming damage cap revamp down the road the % boss will go a much longer way. On top of that full empress adds more weapon attack and generally, most empress equips especially in a server like Broa have not been duped! Meanwhile, most good % top and bottoms with 18%-30% str are duped and have and will be getting wiped. A lot of non empress gmed or prescroled swords such as many vip ones, 170 carabellas, 140 red katana's, stonetooths, and a few others have also been duped and are also targeted for deletion in future wipes.
go empres, you can still get a 7th bonus with the shoulder pad and get that +30% boss dmg and 30 att

In terms of cost-efficiency and what you already have, I think you need to finish the empress set.
Full empress set minus the sword lacks 30 atk, which is why these guys ^ are saying to stick with empress so that you get the 30 atk when the shoulder piece comes out.
Get cape, get shoulder when released.
