Dell vs Hp vs Acer
Hi guys looking for a new laptop if you select other please specify which brand and which computer and after you vote please say which computer you would recommend from that brand. This is what I'm looking for: Good video quality for watching movies
Decent battery (meaning the battery doesn't stop working quickly)
Able to play maple smoothly (of course)
Decent processor

Suggesting a brand over another without know the specific unit you are looking at won't do you any good, and all it leads to is senseless fanboyism/hate and generalization. Seeing how you how you are only aiming to watch movies and playing maplestory (obviously you will be doing other general stuff like web browsing), then a $400 and above modern day laptop with an SB/IB processor is sufficient regardless of brand. So knowing that, do some competent research pick a laptop that you feel will give you more for your money - be it in design, aesthetics, battery life, weight, size, screen resolution, etc.
