An Apiphobic Life

i'd hope to say i'm most likely not the only apiphobic on basil but i question the extent that i take it mentally. ever since i was 3 or 4 i have been deathly afraid of bees. i was stung 12 times around my body for unknowingly going to close to an area that was overtaken by bees nests. luckily i was easily treated where i was at the time because i wasn't stung on the neck or face but now im traumatized and i hate it. i'm not even seriously allergic to them and yet if one flies within 10 meters of me visibly i run across the room probably as fast as i can. ive even thrown my instrument at my friend in band before because of them. i just wanted to ask you guys if there is anyway i can handle this sort of fear because it literly controls my actions arounds friends and family if i see a bee.

well i even jump a little if a fly buzzes in my ear. and its not even a fear of being stung by a bee or wasp, its and actual fear of the insect which i feel goes beyond how most people feel about bees and their phobia

hell i just googled bees close up and i couldnt even look at the page for more than 5 seconds. -_-

Poor you :C I was stung by a wasp once and it was not a pleasant experience... I can't imagine being stung 12 times. I don't know any solutions but good luck on getting over your phobia.
Well, it might be a wasp? Bees generally don't sting you unless you're like, slapping their hive. Wasps will sting you just for lulz.
God I hate wasps.
Always trying to land on top of my ears.
And then just buzzing.
I hate the god damn buzzing.
