Coming back to Maple
After a year, I decided to start up Maple again as a stress reliever/break type of thing. The last time I've played was December 2011, if anyone would be able to fill me in on any changes since then, that would be great

@BattleRoyale: You'll never know because the MTS button is no longer there :-( ! Anyway welcome back! As of right now there is a public smega exploit from this new event so that's the only annoying thing happening right now.

@BattleRoyale: Sadly they got removed permanently. Nexon gave around 3 months After announcing the removal of the MTS. Also I added new stuffs in my previous post.
@envenomed Thanks! That was really helpful! Do you know what happens to items that may have been in the MTS and never taken out?
Well a lot of new stuffs got introduced in the game:
1. New classes: luminous, angelic buster, kaiser, phantom, demon slayer, mercedes, canoneer.
2. Revamped jobs and skills. So be prepared to see new skills in your skill window.
3. New events.
4. New bosses and new items: Empress, tyrant, hellisium, nova items, necro items, loveless items. As for bosses: hilla, chaos pink bean, root abyss, magnus, etc.
5. Crafting system.
6. New system of upgrading your gears, new potential tier and new extra potential line, nebulites system.
7. White scrolls being removed permanently from the game also the MTS.
8. New training area for high leveled people: Lion king castle, Future henesys.
9. New PQS: check them clicking on the multidimentional mirror located in most of the towns.
10. Link skills: passive or active beginner skills provided by leveling to 70 the new jobs I listed above, each link skill gives a different effect.
11. Card system: check it out in the character selection menu.
12. Hyper skills: Currently available for the HERO and M.A.P.L.E. classes.
13. Inner ability, 3 lines that can be unlocked by doing AzwanPQ. It's like cubing equips you can get stats that can help your range, hp, skills, etc.
That's all I can think off right now.

The community is much nicer; none of the xenophobia, homophobia, and vulgarities remain. People no longer spam smegas or exploit glitches. Hackers have all been banned or quit the game. The only thing we're missing now is you! Welcome back to the world of MapleStory.
As @GodOfSparks said, a few new classes were released in a years time. I would just recommend logging into the game again and checking things out for yourself.
