Nexon: Fix the crappy planning.

From the start of the game, there were several mistakes nexon made, slowly getting worse..

First of all, EXTREME MOB ATTACKS with most classes. New classes keep getting better and better mob attacks, so they level faster and people make them and buy nx and stuff. All good right? Almost all classes have mob attacks, which is fine and good. More kills faster. This is bad, because people fill up maps faster. If nexon made all mob attacks more like fire arrow, instead of aran's polearm swing, and buffed the experiance of monsters a bit, this would balance leveling speed, as well as make sharing a map more practical.

EDIT: Perhaps this is a bit extreme, perhaps 3-6 would be good, depending on the move. Melee classes could have 6, and ranged could have less to balance things out.

The secound mistake is making entire map spawn random. By this, if you are killing one platform, most of the monsters will respawn on platforms other then your own. Sometimes they respawn on yours, but as you continue to kill on the same platform, they monsters will pile up elsewhere.

WHILE THIS SEEMS GOOD IN CONCEPT, IT IS UTTER BULL. This, combined with very quick mob attacks that can 1-2hk0 monsters your level, result in the complete destruction of the partying system, when combined with very common, quick movement speed, and map teleporters to make moving around more efficient.

A few examples. Map: Mysterious path 3, after big bang.
Imagine an aran, solo training.

They kill the bottom platform with a few attacks, use combat step to hop across, charge to the top via the teleporter, inhialate that platform, which a considerable mob has built up, then go to the next one, and repeat. This is exceptionally fast.

Now, imagine during peak times of the day, or 2x events. Now there are three people per channal! One person takes each platform. Now, imagine the aran. Instead of being able to completely destroy each platform in 1-2 secounds, they just do the bottom one. Or worse, the middle or top which are smaller. In a few secounds, the bottom is killed. Now they sit around and wait about 6 secounds for the next spawn. Therefore, because the aran is training 2-3 times slower before, there is more motivation to get all three platforms to yourself. Because you get larger mobs, and faster.

This ill-designed system will just get worse! As more new classes come out, with progressivly faster movement speeds, mob attacks, higher damage stuff and such, there will be more people who can not get the experience that they could while soloing the map.

But there is a very easy way to fix this;

If nexon took the following steps, maps would be better suited for partying, therefore would cause much less ksing, classes would have a more balanced training speed. Come on, a battle mage is getting 400% an hour at mp3 at level 90, compared to a level 90 crusader, who would be getting closer to perhaps 80% an hour at the same spot.

Step 1: Change the maximum mob attack to around 3 monsters, except for ultimates or skills with significant cooldowns. Adjust moves accordingly.
Step 2: Make map spawn platform consistant: So if I killed 10 monsters on the bottom platform of mp3, all 10 would respawn back on the bottom platform.
Step 3: Give all monsters about twice the amount of experience, and about four times the health.
Step 4: Adjust movement speed between platforms. Remove cross-map teleporters, and move platforms farther apart, to discourage multiple platform map hogging. Also, slow down extreme rush moves; Warrior rush is fine, but dualblade rush should be nerfed in distance. Alot.
Step 5: Increase the size of all maps, so you can fit more people.
Step 6: Increase the number of monsters that spawn per platform on most maps, and adjust the spawn of the quickest ones, like mp3.
Step 7: Increase the number of platforms per map; Make more places like Squids, which would be more efficient with the changes above, and less places like.. Galloperas.
Step 8: Make random crap maps that no one uses more balanced with the rest of the maple world, or remove them. This will cause less population crowding (big bang helped with this after truckers/vikings/galloperas got nerfed.

If nexon were to fix this, there would be an exceptionally better maple playing experience. It might be hard to lost your 1337 10 monster hitting fly across the map mob attack, but it would be for the better, other changes to the hp and experiance of monsters and spawn would compensate for the most part. Lets admit it, it wouldnt hurt to change it a bit.

The big bang would have been a great opportunity to change some of this stuff. But as usual, they fixed some things.. Such as helping random maps be more used, but hurt other things, such as giving more classes moves built to ks.

Look at the career's section of the website, they barely pay anything.

And you don't have to work for someone to suggest things, or post it on a public forum for discussion, to find out some of the flaws. Such as a few that you pointed out.

okay a lot of this is flawed.
Step 3: Exp X2 Health-should not change (this is the only thing nexon should do but they have to balance it out so theres no power spots like gallopera. For example. Take gallops and double the exp. But do this for all maps similar to that level.)

And by your theory no one would train anymore they would boss if their mob moves become useless. And you also kill a lot of jobs that way.

And I didnt say widen the maps, I said add more platforms..

The gameplay styles would still be unique; Your beloved aran would still have completely different ways of killing monsters. Just less at once.

At your first point: So what you're saying is that Nexon should just do away with the unique playing style of each class and make their mobbing skills attack in the same way? If so, that's a ridiculous idea, classes are supposed to be unique. Arans attack and mob with a polearm and utilise swings, I didn't make an Aran to have a mobbing skill that resembles FA...

No, everything would be more balanced. And dualbladers are practically ranged right now, with rush moves to shoot them across the map.

About the botter thing, there are plenty of self sufficient spawn maps already to bot at; Such as twisted paths, ghost ship, etc.

So there are plenty of places already and more would not hurt anything. And if maps were more balance, as the result of the changes would be, people would notice and report the botters. If nexon actually read something.. That would help.

I agree though, I 1hk0 all monsters my level with pierce.. gets old.
