Your thoughts?

I have qutie a bit of friends i know in real that play maple and they told me alot about what it was like (first starting, pre bb,bb) etc. And before lhc got nerfed and all the classes being either ruined and nexon being lazy and not doing there job to give the players what they want. So question is.. Do you guys think nexon takes pride in ruining maple yes or no? Explain if you wan't to.

I think they are pretty oblivious to the players feed back honestly. Game lacks content its all just new class after new class after op items after cash shop updates. Classes are unbalanced and rather than nerfing classes that are just way stronger they just buff everyone else. Now we are in this cycle of everyone is sooo strong. The simplicity and balance of old school ms is what made it so awesome. A simple world map and basic classes made the games content really fun like PQs and bosses. A warrior, mage, and bowman grinding it out at pig beach all hitting around 100 dmg each skill, hunting equips, and running from the 1 iron boar is what made it so fun and sociable. I still can only hope that they soon release a rewind server... would be so awesome and popular. Much more challenging and enjoyable. They own the rights to that content and shut down servers who use it and get very popular. They should be using that gem they own the rights to and watch the player base grow again sighhhh

Power creeps and centering everything around damage obsession killed the game.

Nexon doesn't even care. They trash the game more with every patch, and never even bother to see what's been done before releasing their next awful patch a few months later.

Well, Maple is still quite fun. Certainly, the community has gotten much better, just much more mature and nicer since its peak in 2011. LHC was a lot of fun, but there're always complainers. Before this game was pay to win, updates were very slow, and even unnoticeable, especially since I was still a child and couldn't notice any new updates anyways. But I like how they're moving this in a story-based direction, organized by level, so you're almost always occupied with some kind of story, until like 12-14x.
