maplestory with windows 8?
ok, so just 2 days ago i got a new laptop with windows 8, i attempted to download maplestory and it started out fine. went all the way to 60% on that pando media booster crap it uses at first to download the "maplestory downloader", but then i had to go to sleep for work so i saved it on my desktop so i can resume it later. only, i couldnt, guessing the saved file "got lost" or whatever, so i restarted, and then the problem began. for some reason it wont work anymore, the % stays at 0 and the xxxx KB out of 4036 MB will sky rocket all the way to around 20,000! and yes, the % still at 0 -___- so my question, is there a way to get it to work or should i go back and trade for a windows 7?

does steam not make u lag?
because i lag like hell on my comp while playing maple on W8

I downloaded MS through the main site and it works perfectly o:
Maple downloaded perfectly well on my W8.
Install with Steam.
You can download the client directly from their servers through [url=http://download2.nexon.net/Game/MapleStory/FullVersion/Downloader/MSSetupv124.exe]this link[/url] and install maplestory
But even if you do so, you won't be able to run the game
