A phantom's ability is to COPY STUFF ! Just thought u needed to know that.
Eh I played yuhioh when I was in elementary school...Now I'm about to graduate from high school. Yugioh is dead to me and most of the people who played it with me back then, except this one kid which is funny to me...and turned out to be gay.
So
How'd you know my secret D:
i think the title you were looking for is lord of the rings
I think he aimed to say that in nearly all fantasy themes, there will be Elves portrayed as an archer race.
OT:
There's many titles that have Phantom thief in it. It just basically is another way of saying "The greatest thief". For example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaito_Kuroba
The concept of a Phantom thief character is not uncommon at all. What's next, criticizing Mercedes because Elves are portrayed as archers in (insert fantasy title here)?

It's funny how people like you make fun of something you don't know or hardly know anything about. It happens every single time when they see a YuGiOh card, "ermergerd it'z der yugioh, it'z so ghey!", but when it comes to the meta game and game play, you have absolutely no idea what to do. You people make me sick.
So
Yes, and Evan = Eargon
What's your point?
They also copied DNAngel didn't they.
You do realize that Yu Gi Oh is a more sophisticated game than Maplestory, right.
You're comparing a card game to an online game designed for children with ADD. Of course any type of game involving strategy would be more sophisticated.
That being said, I used to enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh as a small child, and I was fairly good at understanding all of the mechanics (granted, this was before they threw in this synchon monster crap.) so it isn't that complicated.

Legolas
That Phantom is an old man, ours is a big headed hot guy.
What is this? A thief being referred to as a phantom? NO WAY.
'The Phantom' is a pretty common title for certain thieves in literature, shows, and games. This is by far nothing new, and I highly doubt Nexon would use a show where people ride motorcycles and have horrible haircuts as inspiration.
I find it weird that everyone makes threads about Phantom being copied from [insert source here], when Evans are pretty much taken straight out of Eragon.
I don't understand.. anyone call pull up something Phantom-esque reminiscent of Maple's Phantom and make the same claim. ._.
Are you talking about the skill? It says you can declare the opponent's monster and then ask that person to throw any of the copies in the hand to the graveyard.
Which would be bad for me since I have like a bagillion quillbots.
Doesn't really relate to the maple one.
