oh..the only thing im worried about it the add/remove because he checks it often
That last answer is the only way it's likely to work.. ^^^ Download the game to your Dad's computer, install the game to the USB flash drive, then delete the installer program.
However- that will put a MapleStory icon on the desktop, which you can delete. But it will also put Maplestory in the "Add/Remove Programs" list, which is a good deal more difficult to hide. Whether your Dad will find out about it depends on whether he looks at the "Add/Remove" list very often.
When you want to play, plug the USB drive in, open it and click on either "Maplestory.exe" to start from the web site, or "Gamelauncher.exe" to start from the game login.
It wouldn't work because Hackshield checks every one of the files inside the Maplestory folder for any changes in size.
If it notices any slight change, it will not allow Maplestory to run.
When you copy over the Maplestory folder onto your USB, it gets recompressed and some files may be different in size. Refer to what I said above for why it doesn't work.
Hope I helped.
does this really work?
C: Drive/Program Files/Nexon/Maplestory. Drag that to your USB. DONE. BOOM. MS ON THE GO. Next step, eat a muffin.
Some people say yes, some people say no.
It used to work and was very simple to do. Nexon made changes a few patches ago that changed the way HackShield works and it STOPPED working for me and a lot of people.
You could try it and see if it works for you. Don't get your hopes up too much.
