Les Do Sum Calkulatshun
Just a question. So say you're a thief. Would you rather have 1 WA or +10 LUK.
NO PERCENT LUK EQUIPS, everything is just clean. Like, I want to know which would give more attack.

i can't tell you, you need to figure that out on your own, it's too much of a chore to calculate it myself. it's easier for you to equip something that adds X amount of luck and see how much your range increases vs 1 attack.
MOST OF THE TIME, 2-3 ish attack is equal to 1%main stat, and 1 attk is around 4-6 main stat.
@lordofwar657: it's not sarcasm, it's basic math, diminishing returns.
for your question, it would be 110 luck total.
and a quick example, say you hit a boss for 100 damage, you get 100% boss, so now you hit 200 damage, your damage doubled!
but then you get ANOTHER 100% boss, your damage would go from 200 to 300, so you only increased your damage by 1.5x this time, instead of 2x.
same thing with %luck, stat and attack, the more of one you have, the less of a boost you end up getting, and the more effective the other two get.
@membersonlyy: what? no, the more %luk you have, the less effective a %luk cape
@ichosendream: eeh, i wouldn't pay much attention to that formula.
overall, the more %LUK you have, the better it is to have the %15 LUK cape. as of right now, the cape might be better.
If total LUK < 10 * total weapon attack, pick LUK.
my bad, I'm not getting it
@BurritoMan: Thanks! Now to aim for a 30k range.
If total LUK < 10 * total weapon attack, pick LUK.
Oh my god, that calculation actually works! Does it also work for other classes? Like warriors? I want to try and calculate my ideal range.
If total LUK < 10 * total weapon attack, pick LUK.
usually it depends on your current total w'atk and total luk...but 10 luk is a lot better than 1 w'atk at any level.
