why abs are quotweakquot

Nexon released a nerfed version of the Angelic Buster compared to the KMS version because they wanted us to buy NX to spend on:

-Miracle Cube packages
-Shielding Wards
-Wheel of Marvel
-Royal Hair/Face Coupons

Think about it, fellow maplers, they've put "event sales" for these

Your original choices for the Face/Hair for the Angelic Buster doesn't look that great.. -.-

So that means no chilling in Henesys without looking like a poop )';

Angelic Busters feel pretty weak for the first little while.. that's why they're giving us a chance to get Tyrant equips from the Wheel of Marvel, right after removing illicitly generated ones. Even saying that we have a chance to get 1 million maple points

Same for the Miracle cube packages, we feel a bit weak, so they're trying to make us buy more damage.

As you may have noticed, these are event cash items, or cash items possibly on sale.

Has anybody else ever realized this?

While I can see people saying AB are weak if compared to how they were released in KMS they are by no means so when people look at the bigger picture of current classes in the game at the moment. I am playing my AB after switching over from a mechanic because of the low mobility mechanics have. So far I find AB to be quite strong and with soul seeker pretty much able to solo anything i run at. While I may never see the continuous stacks of over cap damage the AB is known for I for one am glad its a fun balanced class.

Do more crunches and sit ups to strengthen up your abs.

I always thought to my self when there's a notice saying "a lucky player got a (insert good thing from wheel) congrats to him" It's actually Nexon posting these making people jelly and want to go buy NX and spin the wheel of Marvel thinking that they'd get something good.

But of course just my opinion.

As people have said, nexon is a business, they will do everything in their power to make money. If people stopped purchasing NX at their current offer, they have to drop the price so that people do buy it. It doesn't cost that much money to make NX card codes anyway.

I remember NX was $1:1k NX even then, dunno what you're on.

What I see:

I feel smart for finding this out, so maybe I should share this. I might get a few supports, I might a few flames. In the end, I still learn something.

Don't even think of close-to-impossible scenarios such as 'do you think that, if people stopped buying NX, maybe for a year, ', you'd just be deluding yourself and getting excited over nothing.

I might be over-analyzing, but this is my piece.
If a class is shtty in the first place why would anyone want to spend money on them when they could get more bang for their buck on another class? Didn't really think that through?

Stop spreading bullsht conspiracy theories.
cause abs are the only class atm with a really high dmg cap. What's the point in putting so much funding in a class if it's going to be eventually hindered by the dmg cap. I guess you didn't really think it through did you?
In Beta Nx did have a different ratio when it was first released i dont believe it was 2$ though infact i was told it was free (my friend had gotten me into maple just as beta turned to full version)
Perhaps, I only started playing a few weeks after launch. But NX ratios in beta are irrelevant, since the whole point of beta is to test things, and nothing carried over. Also, the cash shop wasn't even released until a few months after the game launch. I didn't buy any NX right away, but when I did it was definitely $1:1000nx.

There was a time when Maple Points were distributed quite often, I had around 20k free Maple Points without lifting much of finger in just a few weeks from events.
Now they hardly give out Maple Points and the prizes are getting harder and harder to get.
If you are going to keep complaining about nexon why do you continue to play maple?
What kind of logic is that?
Ugh, I have so much homework, I'm dropping out of school.
Ugh, soup for dinner again? I'm killing myself.

Hm, I remember in old old school maplestory, 10K NX was worth only $2, do you think that, if people stopped buying NX, maybe for a year, and spent it on "that game console that they were craving" instead of NX for awhile, would the price of NX decrease? even to $8? A drastic change could possibly happen if maple society were to take advantage of events to keep the economy stable, rather than buying NX. I know that it its virtually impossible for it to happen, but chances are, Nexon will drop the prices on NX. And maybe they'll put in the mesos for maple points function. Maybe with a REASONABLE price.
lol i thought business' were supposed to make their customers "happy" unlike nexon does, we'll wait for an 8 hour sc after someone finds an AB exploit
Businesses (apostrophe S is for possessive not plural ;P) are supposed to make money. That's what keeps them being a business. Making customers happy nowadays doesn't usually correlate to making money though.
