some people have built in windows 8 and some dont thats the thing
just trying to help other people that had windows 8 built in cause some people get a hackshield error
I haven't had a problem since Luminous came out.
Right when Tempest started Maple killed Windows 8 but it's been fixed for several months now.
how to run maple on windows 8
1.Local Disk (C) found on your computer
2. Go to Nexon>Maplestory>Right Click Run Troubleshoot Compatibility
3. Select Troubleshoot Program>Select The Program works in earlier versions windows but wont installed or run now!>Press Next
3. Which version of window did this program work on before?
Select Windows 7
4. Select Test Program and it should open maplestory on the website page >Press Play
i havent tried it for gamelauncher but im definitely it works for game launcher too
if you guys have issue or need help message chat me heres is how to get maple to work on windows 8 for the people that needs help
dont have to redownload maplestory or re install it or manual patch it
@dizahpheap: That is nice! That will help a ton to people that are experiencing that kind of issue, there have been an increase of crashing threads lately.

I've also had windows 8 for almost 2 months now, I've never come across any problems starting maple up. Downloading from the main site and running it was the only thing I did.
BUT .. I do admit that Maple can crash alot easier for my windows 8 compared to my windows 7. CWKPQ boss stage for example, I have to use my win 7 because if I dont, I get a memory error on my win 8 a few minutes after the bosses come out. This is in general with more heavy graphics oriented events.

yeah you can and to everyone else it didnt work for me b4 it kept showing me an error but now it works fine for me now i even send a ticket to nexon and nexon said maple is not compatible
since when has it not worked
