How to convince my parents
so i'm moving out of my dumpy apartments which i live with my folks and siblings, and right now i found a decent place where my job is close by and afforabale rent. but the main issue is that my parents keep telling me to not do it and stay here and help out with the rent. my own rent is 100$ or 200$ for a small space that is only 1/8 of the whole apartment. and i keep telling them i don't want to be here anymore i want to have my own life. i make 1.5k from my job monthly (without over time), i have 3.4k in my savings that i been storing ever since i started working. i'm about to get my 1st year of the job i'm getting (hoping getting a raise) and it's 20 mins away from my job. and yet i can't even leave here without them scolding me or telling me it's a dumb idea. and now i'm at my last string of freedom and wondering how can i tell my folks i can live on my own
P.S. i get 4-6 hours of overtime weekly

thanks guys, i already got approve to that apartment few days ago but can't move in till jan 15th. it's really hard that i have to face them at work and still try to have their way
Don't say a word and disappear.
Tell ur parents that u feel that u should be more responsible so u want to live on ur own, so its for the best. but promise them u will visit atleast once a week.
Send a check every month with a small amount of money maybe.
