How Fun Are Chief Bandits?

I am wondering because I have a level 59 dexless dit and I'll admit it's pretty fun even though I only have a few attack skills, but I'm wondering if I should continue it or level some of my other chars. My friend is a 14x shadower and he has a lot of fun and really high damage and he isn't super godly. But what I'm asking is, is Chief Bandit really fun? Like to train and the skills and overall experience?
Oh and a little off topic, I have 25 base dex on my dit should I raise it to 80 like my nl, because I know I need to raise it sometime.

EDIT: I need a skill build for CB since its very confusing with all the useful skills, thanks

I'll admit before the BB patch I was kind of embarrased to being on the shad-wagon, but now that i've decently played my CB (90 atm) It's a lot more fun than I expected. But yes, it does take a bit of funding.

@Gino: Lol Wow, someone is very serious about this game. -Applauds- xD

Edit: But really, I don't think anyone really cares on your opinion on "real" classes. Because the fact is, Hermits are a class like any other, and you can hate all ya want, but nothing's gonna change that. But as they say - Haters gonna hate lol. xD

you obviously weren't reading well in more than one way, this is for my dit which is now level 62 and my nl is 129 not 139

@Mapledude22: Pre-BB I went gobies from 71-73, after I got MG I was able to take a hit from Elderwraiths so I VIP tele'd over there and did that. I also started to constantly surf channels to find HHs. I was on 2x most of the time.

They're as fun as the amount of dedication you put into them.
Just like most other classes.

There's nothing quite like using Shadow Partner and Assassinate to rack up over one million damage in a single attack. Ohyes..

It's hella fun. I love ripping whole Rexton maps in a mere few seconds (FJ+BS occasionally BoT). Shadhood is hella fun.

I'd imagine CB to be pretty fun too, but not as fun cause ya don't got BS yet. But hey, something to look forward to : )

Learn2count. L7, Drain, Disorder, Web, Shadow Mesos, and AVENGERRRRR! Some are used a lot less than others, but they count too. xD

Edit: Plus it's not all about quantity of attacking skills, or DBs would own CBs/Shads by a long shot in fun. xD

"I can't imagine myself using any other class besides my Shadower", thats what I used to think pre-BB. Post-BB, I'm quite sure I'm not making any other class. The speed is AWESOME, and it's true, you're never spamming a single attack since every single attack has a different purpose.
-------------------------------------------------------
BoT: Ranged mob attack that hits in front and behind you. Sometimes you want to kill a mob and can't reach one of the two, so this would be the best choice.

Assaulter: Hits hard, and works well against mobile bosses after Boomerang Step. BS into the bosses hen assaulter away before your invincibility runs out. With SP it hits 6 times, which means you also get lots of mesos from Pickpocket while dishing out major damage!

Savage Blow: With maxed BS, its damage increases by 25%! It hits a whopping 12 times with SP, which means it's great for dropping mesos with Pickpocket on monsters who are stationary and/or have a super weapon defense boost at the moment.

Steal: Faster than BS, it hits straight forward so it's a good mobber if you're looking to rip through mobs while controlling where you hit. If you're ever hunting items out of boredom, if you can 1hit monsters with this attack then it would imply you're permanently on 1.4x drop.

Boomerang Step: The best Shadower attack, it hits a total of 1200% damage, buffs Assaulter/BoT/Savage Blow/Steal's damage by 25%, stuns enemy at an 80% success rate, has amazing range, and makes you invincible while you're invisible. It is extremely useful, it can be both an offensive attack (hitting most of the arms in one side of Zakum), or a defensive attack (attack Pianus while he shoots his beam at you and you'll be invincible during the beam, or attack a boss by jumping into him and BS'ing in the air to land inside him while invincible then assaulter away before it runs out). You can also avoid obstacles in jump quests or obstacle courses by using BS (like the famous Crimsonwood pillar, you can avoid it completely by jumping into it and BS'ing).

Meso Explosion: Doing 180% per meso and exploding 15 bags simultaneously, you could say it's a Hurricane imitation. Meso Up (4th job skill) buffs the damage up to 240% per meso and increases the pickpocket drop rate, making this move invaluable against many bosses, especially stationary ones like Zakum and Horntail. By far our best bossing move.

Assassinate: Charge it up for 8 seconds, and watch your damage skyrocket to incredible heights. It's also useful for bossing with the popular Boomerang Step>Dark Sight>Assassinate combo.
-------------------------------------------------------

Wanna know something funny? I still use every attack, except double-stab (or Lucky 7, in my case, since I'm a sindit).

I'm really enjoying my CB too.
I find them to be an extremely mobile and versatile class.
Their movement speed is 1 to be reckoned with when using a mix of FJ and Assulter.
They have a pretty nice mob skill too, which keeps training at a decent speed.
Also they have Shadow partner too which multiplies their damage by 1.5 at the cost of only a summoning rock.
They also have a very strong 1v1 skill too namely, Assaulter, which also at max has a 80% chance to stun.
Also, although i personally haven't had the chance to test Meso Explosion tagged teamed with pickpocket, in the videos of shadowers using this, not only does this look incredibly awesome, but the damage it deals is pretty sweet too.
Not to forget the defensive skills that Chief bandits have, Shield Mastery, Meso Guard and Dark Flare.
Shield Mastery DOUBLES you're defence so you end up taking half the damage, and if that wasn't enough, Meso Guard also reduces damage taken by half too!
Dark Flare is a mix of defensive and offensive too. It's also useful to a whole party. It reflects damage that nearby members take( 1300%...which is alot)

For all the credits worth, we were the fastest leveling from 72-100 pre-BB. If you plan on going back to your dit, make sure you find a recent guide, as bumbing doesn't really work anymore
edit: forgot topic. CBs ARE BY FAR THE FUNNEST CLASS EVER (imo)

As far as damage goes, my CB can crit 9k using BoT with just a Kebob. For fun, Assaulter hits 3 times and is good for DPS now (I guess) and was fun to use to begin with. FJ as a melee is insane and you're never really spamming a single attack unless you're mob training. That shadow resistance thing gives more HP and some damage resistance, MG halves damage you take and SP just gives you LOTS of lines of numbers. Long story short; It's awesome.

I love my Dit (level 45) but I used the SP reset and maxed "Steal" first... so.. yeah....
Play it.. get it to level 60! I am making my a STR bandit.. so when I got to 120 I can use a Dkhanjar

They are great, fun , high dpm. and I think you should raise your dex... because I am guessing you arn't "godly" funded...
