scratch everything you heard about mp problems, and use the potion pot...works wonders xD
if you're just aiming to finish no matter what time, get the buffs available in there

Having any active set effects negates the bonus MP regen that Dojo gives, which is typically enough to keep a characters MP topped up consistently.

When you're in the resting spot, you summon your familiar.
Summon, wait a bit, unsummon, and repeat until you get your MP back.

Unless you have extremely high dps, you're still going to run out of mp towards the end because of how much hp the last few bosses have.
You have two options to solve the MP problem,
1) Unequip anything that gives you a set effect (like for empress you have the set effects starting at 2 equips so you'd have to strip down to only your best empress equip to avoid having the set effects). For some reason set effects cancel out the MP recovery that normally happens in dojo (like 500mp every heal).

2) Bring a familiar that recovers MP (Jr. Boogie is the easiest to get imo) and summon/unsummon it whenever you need mp. When you make it go back in, you recover a nice chunk of mp. Just don't leave it out too long or it will lose stamina and you will have to wait a while before you can summon it again. This can be done during battle too, so long as you keep an eye on the boss and your hp while you're doing it.

How does this help?
OT: I heard that an Evan character card allows you drain massive amounts of MP when you attack, the drain happens once every 20 seconds.
(The 60 second cooldown only applies to double draining, when you drain twice the amount of MP.
