I usually go to ardent mill CH 1 and drop all the mastery books that isn't worth selling after a MMB run. Its fun too see the noobs race to pick up all the books cause they can sell the books or use for themself.

Was on a Pierre run today. Hat dropped, I looted it.
Party member was sad he didn't get it, so I traded him and gave him the hat, for free.

Not at all, I felt bad that I had ignored him like that. I also knew the pain of needing fame to wear a dark piece of armor, and figured he would be very happy if i gave him all the fame he needed to use it, I even famed him up to 21 just in case someone defamed him.

I use to give away 10k nx every Friday. I held little events or played little mini various games to choose a winner. Did 50k on Christmas. It was always something
I enjoyed doing. I only stopped because I quit playing for awhile. Also Basil doesn't allow me to post free give away challenges so it got rusty over time

Glad there are still people like you around. People like you that do these kind of things are the only reason why i continue to play Maplestory

One day I just finished to help a guildie with some kser at skeletons (NLC ones, weird ikr o.o) , so I just started to look around the channels. I saw a ''novice'' swordman who actually needed help leveling and some damage. I offered partying him and give him HS, AB other buffs. When he reached level 30, I gave him a bunch of gelts (yeah gelts the CWKPQ ones) so he can do his job advance quickly, and get more damage if he doesn't use them all there. I helped him doing the mushroom castle quests like getting the items, helping with the bosses and those things. I got him a CD channel (empty on the exact chan we were ) and trained there until he was 55 or so. Then I got him a ludi PQ group with some guildies. He went to do his 3rd job advancement after that. I gave him around 10mill and some gear. He had to go later, he added me but the next day he started to act all mean and whatnot , like if I was his mule or whatever. Whatever I deleted him. I'm proud of helping him and I'm looking forward more people like him, ofcourse not the part when he turns mean lol

I have another story to share
I remember back in 2007 when I was a level 4x cleric spending my life at LPQ. I had a party that was filled with lazy jerks, and the only people who were doing most of the rooms were me and the party leader. By the end of the pq I had told my party that I wished they had been more helpful and was honestly a bit upset. The party leader looked at me said "Thank you" then famed me and left the pq area. Even though that was close to 6 years ago now I still remember her... She wore that yellow sundress nx.... I never got her name but really wish I had. Clerics get a lot of disrespect, along with priests and bishops. Don't demand your hs, ask for it nicely and thank them afterwords, they really like that x3

I literally help tons of people everyday.
Not to toot my own horn but I just want to say that it just feels great helping people.
And I honestly think more people should be like the TS. To many people ONLY care about making profits/meso.
A lot of people get arrogant once they are ''godly'' and are Lv 200 looking down on people. (This makes me very sad).

Anyway, I get famed like 4/6 a day out of nowhere. (I'm not even joking) and I really appreciate that people do this.
Something as simple as a fame can really make someones day.

If you already have tons of meso and a lot of good equipments, can kill bosses quickly and all that...
Then why not put that to good use and help some people out. Give some HTP's away. Czak helmets.
Help people leech at LHC, help them with quests. Do zakum for them and walk with them though the JQ.

EDIT: Speaking of this. If anyone is reading this and wants a HTP or Czak helmet or whatever then you should
check out my listing below. It's free obviously.

Help some new players out and give them some pointers. Give them something to start with.

So I was loafing around in Hene while a mystic door event thing happened in renegades (I haven't played on that world in what feeels like ages) and I was bored and mopy so because this server is just so dead it was just me fighting Von Leon for a good 5 minutes, then outta the blue comes this level 200 Kaiser and I was like man I'm almost level 200 I wish I had the motivation to finish this character. So after we Kill Von Leon I start loafing around Hene again and I see that same Kaiser loafing around aswell ( I assume he was loafing) so I start making small talk and I tell him that I have no motivation to level this character because I dont even Have Final Blow and I cant get fillers for me to go off and zak on my lonesome (cause I have no friends) and He's like "Zak isn't gonna help you, you should be Czaking. Here let me take you on a run" so this random stranger takes me on not 1 but two Czak runs although the book didn't drop on either run I did get a free Czak run in the end and I made a new awesome friend. and after the run I told him how I have final blow 30 but not 20 and he was like "dude I could have totally bought one for you I saw one in the FM" ...True story

There was this Aran, asking for people to help him for zakum because he needed final blow 10. I told him, "I can help you get your book!". Even though as much as I needed that book, (I've had an Aran ever since they came out) I let him loot it anyways at zakum. I felt really nice at that time because I wasn't even helping a friend sort of, just some random person in need. I would of looted it, but I told him I would let him have all the drops.

Was on my Luminous and met another Luminous in the house that you teleport to when you use the crystal. We spent about 5 minutes F6ing each other, spamming skills at each other and just jumping around the house. She was only level 6X and I was 10X so I decided to just go out of my way to help her with her quests, going all the way to ludi to kill robos and then down to omega sector to kill aliens, we spent a few hours together just questing and talking. I kept talking about how I needed rascal pieces to get the ice chair and so as a thankyou gift, she gave me all her rascal pieces (which was around 500 or so). I also decided to give her a bunch of (decent) equips that I didn't need anymore to her all for free. As I had to go, we parted ways and added each other. I felt really good and happy about what I had done.

I never saw her online again. Partly cos I kinda stopped playing after that.

I hs'd some people who were training for a while and helped them get to level 70

it made me feel good about myself

Gave some mesos to players asking for mesos in the FM. Gave afew on the condition that they help others when they become better/richer in terms of wealth in the game.

I door'd a guy to aliens awhile back and got KS'd by him.

every now and then, i get bored of the usual grind, and decide to go to one of the lower level areas, in channel 1
if i see anyone who seems to actually be a noob, i usually give them 10m, and help them out for the next few hours with whatever they're doing

Yesterday, someone came up to me and asked for pointers selling things. Sure, why not I thought, so I helped him along.
He said he had only been playing for four days so I bought his stock of items out for him. He was pretty happy with his first
50 mil. I buddied him and added him to guild. I added him on skype to send him a few tutorials and whatnot to get him started.
Things were going fine, until he started talking in alliance chat. He admitted to hacking/botting, so... He became dead to me.

People in scania instead of helping the lower levels and unfunded with boss runs they charge them mesos to take them along. From time to time when i have free time or get bored i would make a post on basil offering to take people on free runs and they can loot what ever they needed ! Ps: I took people on a zak/hilla run 2 days ago
