Screen magnifies when I try to get into Maplestory

Not too long ago, I downloaded Maplestory. It worked fine, but whenever I try to get in through the the main website, it will make the screen black, then magnify it without doing anything else.

I then uninstalled it and installed it in hopes it would work, but I had the same problem.

Does anyone know why this would be happening and have a solution for it? It is really annoying and the fact I wasted 2GB re-downloading doesn't make me any better (That's 5% of the whole internet usage for this month in one day ) Is anyone having the same problem so I don't feel it is just me?

I can play it on my brother's computer fine, so it must have something to do with my computer.

Thanks in advance for anyone that contributes
will there be an option for it to be 800x600 still?
Yes.. in the Tespia options there were a couple of choices for screen resolution and it still let you pick 800x600.

Edit: I did that and waited a bit, and it worked. The only problem is that when I choose a world & channel to go in, it says 'Trouble logging in'. I tried re-logging on my account and I got the same problem.

Perhaps I should wait after the big bang patch to see if it removes the problem, but if anyone has some ideas

This happens to me when i don't check "Remember me" when i log in on the site.
Because it takes longer to load, it can log you out if you don't check "remember me"

I have a 22 inch monitor that I play it on and it has never done it. It seems unusual for it just to do it all of a sudden.

I'll give it a go and see how it works out. Thanks ^_^

Edit: @below: Umm... I don't know what graphics card I have, but I have a sony VIAO if that makes any difference (I hook up the laptop to a monitor).

It does this on my comp too. But the game still loads. I think it might have something to do with the game launching in full screen mode.
