I've been dealing with a lot of family s--- for the past 5 years. I used to be very emotional and depressed but as of a few months ago, I think my body used it's defense mechanism to make me "numb". It's been quite awhile since I was able to feel genuine/deep emotions. It's hard to explain but the feelings I feel now are very "shallow". I don't know whether I should like this or not. There are times when I want to let it all out and cry but because of this blockage, it prevents me from doing so. It's pretty fustrating now that I think about it.

I agree with this statement, but more so with "negative" emotions like anger and sadness.
Hmm but I'd imagine doing some sort of game-winning play in a sporting event would make me pretty happy (last time this happened for me was December of 2011)
edit: this morning i won my first online Super Smash Bros Brawl match in epic fashion. i was pretty happy about that.
Hapiness is an illusion to me. I don't really feel those moments where I want to pause time forever. I have yet to find my purpose in this world.

I achieved this goal because I just stopped caring what happens.
@thedstar how old are you? and how did you achieve that level of happiness?

But in all serious matter, I literally killed all my emotions last year.
I was watching a movie an hour ago and it was pretty good. Why?
About 20 minutes ago when I ate.
About a month and a half ago. It felt amazing.

It was this afternoon, when I seen my crush from college that I didn't see since May 28th... We played soccer together and had an ice cream together... He even let me give him a hug... But reality being a btch stroke back when I got home a realized there might be nothing else but friendship inbetween me and this guy...

by that standard, it'd b the last time i had a real dream. all last year i was scared to dream just cuz i didn't wanna end up sleeping in and missing the bus from turning off my alarm and wanting to go back to sleep. now i just never get to sleep in and months since anime stunts my creative mind... if u mean wen i was awake, nothing to that high a standard.

Yesterday when I went to the beach with my girlfriend.
Even today when I went to the dentist. The dentist's assistant who cleans my mouth and takes my x-rays is super cute and funny (too bad she's white).
