@izama: My guess is with everyone else wit it coming out with phantom. Even if it doesn't I see no reason to not collect special mastery books. Just don't open them until the revamp.

Did TMS changed their mind about not having pirate revamp? They're testing the pirate revamp in their tespia, and it's the completed kms version, not the bs CMS version.

Oh also forgot their and our pirate style are not the same. They get 40 resistance and we only get 30, but we get 60% stance compard to their 40.

@sleepyheadXIII: Critical rate isn't an issue I guess, nor is speed, as for % hp, if its not mercedes fast and able to avoid / reduce damage, then its nothing special. Quick glance at their skills shows none of this to be the case, so nothing to worry about. One thing that still is a bother is that, considering the entire patch notes doesn't include pirates, means this entire justice/renegade event goes over us since Jett took our place. Looking at the dates, the most realistic release for our revamp would have to be between June 24th / after August 7th. In terms of being outclassed, I don't feel any worries by Jett, but considering all they've done, I have a bad feeling we can be screwed event wise. I wonder if we'll still get our mastery book exchange, or an extended Justice/ Renegade so we too can enjoy the event on our revamped sairs. It's like no point in buying the special masterybook and stocking up, if it doesn't convert on our revamp or give us one of our revamped skills when we use it. There's so much up in the air

@izama: Overall Sairs don't have anything to worry about if we get the KMS revamp. The only thing Jett has over us is endurance to heal %hp over time and more critical and if really care, more speed. Sairs have more summons, more mastery, final attack, more atk buffs, better mobility, and if mount cancelling works then better mobbing.

Some useful info here :O I'm curious about that change over time thing they mentioned though. Would that mean our core never has a set stat, so sometimes we get trash or other times we get some good stats even on our link?

Well you still need bullets with a high capacity so that you have bullets to consume for Hallow Point in the first place. the more bullets you got, the less you'll have to recharge them... So no high level bullet is really ever useless in that aspect alone.

You're 100% right. Who would want a giant bullet anymore after such a nice skill like hollow point?

Not only that, the attack from bullets mean nothing since doesn't stack with hollow bullet point.
And dragon warrior's shield can not be potted, so chances are neither will Jett since she's a copy of dragon warrior.

I know what a secondary weapon is. I'm just saying that I've seen a lot of people that Jett's gonna beat out Sairs because of her Core. And I think that's BS because we still get our Attack boosted from the quality of bullets we carry.

Guns and Cores don't kill people. Bullets, people, and Chuck Norris kill people.

Jett still uses normal guns for equipment.
Dragon warrior does not use bullets, and neither will she probably.
2ndary weapon is something like Mercedes's arrow or Phantom's card where can cube for %bossing. Dragon warrior has something like it with a shield, but it can not be potted so it's just an extra str/dex boost and nothing more unlike mercedes/phantom/db/mechanic.

Dragon warrior's shield when fully lvl'd up and all is like 21str/dex with some other buffs that don't really matter/effect damage and can not potted. It's really nothing to be worried about. Besides with no final attack, just means they will hit cap earlier and sairs will still win out because we do.
Besides it's not that big of deal, chances are in the future all jobs will have a 2ndary weapon. Or at least sairs/nls I'm hoping since only 2 jobs that still need ammo which is pretty dumb. And the recent change to mechanics getting one gives me hope that one day they will change it for sairs too.

@noi1991: If the 2ndary weapon is like Dragon warrior's shield then doesn't matter since DW's shield wasn't allowed to have pot. It was just an extra +str/dex boost for them. Nothing great compared to what Sairs will get.

Sairs are better because jett doesn't have expert mastery/ final attack like us.
Jett has more critical and that's it in terms of damage. Sair have 30 more attack from crew, an extra summon to attack, final attack, and more mastery.

Yeh i was thinking, looking at jett skills......doesn't jett simply do everything a sair does but flashier and faster? Jett basically replaces corsair don't they?
