A Class Database

So there was a thread about adding your own character [ post here ].

Then I decided to pretty much advertise a whole bunch of content implementations that Nexon may or may not have followed since the approach of 2012. You can find the list here but I will list them in this thread for a little brief summary of each. Please note that before jumping to conclusions don't say "It's just a copy of Novas!" Look at the publish dates before saying so. However, some things are inspired from others, such as the Oz being inspired from Mihile. Or a few detailing what it would be like if X and Y classes were combined to make the Z class. Enjoy!

Might as well say the 'Alpha-Striker' for the Cygnus reorganization. The Leviatan class was one I was proud of. It was a possibility for a Pirate Hero. I made this because -sure Luminous already came out- but this guy still brought hope to pirate lovers. He was an ancient hero expected to wake when the world would meet its ultimate doom stages. In other words, the Black Mage's attempt to rule the world. He has no ties with the war that took place 300 years ago, but he does now. Your weapon is a cutlass, your armor is that of a captain, and you have a new concept to the game as your mount; a spirit. Yours is the leviathan, hence your name is Levi. This new class also brings in some new content to Maplestory for underwater mounts. When it comes down to skills, his are like having two combo lines. You have a spirit combo, and your regular attack that is quite action-like.
Note: There used to be a revamped version with improved mechanics and math on Basil, but threads die quickly here. And the story is now conflicted out because Root Abyss now exists in the game.

The Condor mage is a 4th branch for magicians. Players use hand magic (yes, hand magic) for your good deeds. The combat style is somewhat more interactive than other classes. You must prepare your magic first. Then while you're ready, you can fire all you like. If you've got your imagination running while reading about this class, you will surely enjoy it. And btw, you can have slimes (link skill) with different hats/personalities to help you out on the battlefield! They're so cute! XD

Just a Mihile adaptation for the Blaze Mage. It's basically a Blaze Mage that can get to Lv.200 with a few new epic skills to use.

[09-03-2012] Louis (Explorer)
This guy is just a class I made up based on my own liking of combining concepts from different classes already made, tweak them a little bit, add some new skills, and bam; Louis is born. He is yet another mage because I like magic classes. I fit this class to fit my own likings for a support-and-protect class. Feedback has been on opposite sides for Louis, but to me I am proud of the creation.

An acrobatic elf guy from Elluel. 'Nuff said.

I made this idea way back when (like February of 2012), and reposted in August with a bit more of an elaboration. I intentionally left the 2nd/3rd/4th job advancements blank for the audience to ponder what they'd be like. If you look into the previous thread (Idk where on [Basil curse warning, sorry editing sentence X3] Nexon forums), you will see that the Kiri Warrior was a fire guy. But now that Kaiser (which pretty much is the Kiri Warrior) is implemented, I changed the class to a wind elemental spearman. Then there's a wind mage that uses leaves and stuff. He can heal by holding down the skill key. And a night/lunar elemental bowman, a jester-like thief with a dagger, and an ice elemental pirate that uses a freeze gun for their pleasures of skating and stuff. You also get the ice grenade that utilized the glitchy grenade skill to its advantage to provide the player with such fun while they skate around, and their gun freezing everything in front of you. The Kiri also get a new continent in the skies. You get to have summons that you get to control their actions (based on your class), and also: you can make Kiri Explorers when you reach Lv.150! This allows you to have a new Kiri player to follow with any of the Explorer classes. Play as a Hero class with a Kiri! And you can adapt up to two skills from the Kiri class of your counterpart - like for example, a Bishop would take skills from a Kiri mage.

[header]Re-Evolution (Revamp)[/header]
[09-03-2012] Re-Evolution (Revamp)
This is my favourite of them all. I spent three quarters of the year putting this in final development, and got massive feedback from Nexon's forums. It is a revamp for Cygnus Knights and Explorers that pretty much balance them with even Kaiser, Luminous, Phantom and any future class by improving their priority on the battlefield. This idea made many CK fans happy, as well as an Evan player in which I touched in the midst of it. It started out with newer game concepts in which I now plan to use in my own creations when I get a career as a game designer, and lead into this ultimate revamp patch I call Maplestory: Re-Evolution. Of course, Cygnus Knights are getting revamped now, but the one in this patch might take you to a whole different direction, and even make you much happier to make a Cygnus Knight... without changing one bit of their dignity either!

Re-Evolution introduces new map concepts, new link skills for all Explorers and Cygnus Knights, an Enhanced Basics skill (a skill that enhances not only the damage of a skill, but its look, attack count, mob count, and such mechanics for 1st and 2nd job skills for unique and newly improved experiences for each class) for all those classes as well (which is the big part of Re-Evolution), a theme dungeon for all that gives Enhanced Basics to classes that need it. Btw, Dual Blades and Cannoneers count. The patch also introduces a new quest in Elluel for Cygnus Knights to protect the area from an assault, and you are rewarded with a new skill. They are different for each class, and you will be wanted in a party if you have it. The skills are balanced, but set a huge priority for Cygnus Knights after Lv.50. Then there is the 4th job advancement for Cygnus Knights. It was a plan to introduce a way to give players a way to join their Lv.200 friends with newly improved mechanics after finishing their Lv.120 questlines. An interesting way for an SP system was introduced, and a Cygnus Knight [Basil curse warning sorry, editing sentence X3] still stays at Lv.120, and can hit up to Lv.200 monsters and join in on any quest leading to that level. Due to this advancement, there is a different approach for Cygnus Knights going into Future Henesys/Ereve.

[header]Spiegelmann PQs[/header]
[06-19-2012] Spiegelmann's KSing Zone (The Slaughter Carnival)
This PQ is a project I am proud of, just like the other Spiegelmann PQ idea. This one is about controlling the battlefield with modes of few people against a few people, to expedition maps. Players KS each other to keep their ratio for the ultimate bonus of EXP. This PQ does one thing that others have been missing since the CPQ and APQ days; and that is pure skill over Maplestory-styles combat systems. To control the spawn with the swift keyboard skills of your hands really do help with this kind of PQ.

[09-16-2012] Spiegelmann's Grand Carnival Games
The Grand Carnival was a revamp for CPQ to allow for parties to have different modes. I forget the other two modes I meant to join with this one, but survival basically speaks for itself. You have unlimited time of practically original CPQ mechanics with renewed monsters and areas, and the team with survives wins 30% of the Exp they have gained achieved throughout the game. The losing team gets a 10% bonus. This goes on until the all members of a team have been eliminated. Oh, and there is an interesting equipment set that you might like, and some hoods to add to your tops for style.

[header]Others[/header]
So those are some of my ideas. There are others like AlienMV's and some other honourable mentions from Nexon's forums. Please be sure to check them out here!

Please comment your thoughts! And keep this thread active! XD

There needs to be a pimp class that deals 250% damage on all female characters in PvP and can enslave monsters. He would assign the monsters to specific maps and they'd bring in dough for him.
