Switching between Light and Dark

How are you guys doing it?
For 2nd job, I just switched to dark then kept it there until 60 because Dark is stronger. For 3rd job though, I need to keep alternating between the modes, and clicking the icon all the time is slow, and it doesn't indicate what the cooldown is...

I really wish they didn't change the system like this...
Did anyone else NOT get the beginner skill to switch between the two? My brother received it and I did not. I did the tutorial, he did not. I'm wondering if I need to remake before getting too far along.
I did the tutorial and didn't get the switch skill. I'm running around using only light =.=

Yeah, I see what you mean now. The more I look at how it's been changed, the more it just seems like an unnecessary hindrance.
Yeah they should of kept it as it was before, it was much easier.
Not only is it much easier, I feel like it makes a lot more sense as well. You're actually required to use both sides as opposed to only ever using one
I'm just keeping it on light really. There's not much of an incentive to use the skills for the inactive mode to charge for it when your the currently buffed skills for your active mode only charge that mode. Surely it would make more sense for light to charge dark and vice versa, actually promoting using the different modes...
