Great Job Treyarch, also I am not saying MW2 was bad just Black Ops is better IMO. MW2 was a excellent game and I enjoyed it for the year

On the menu where theres Xbox LIVE, there should be something called "Local" or something.
And the split screen button should be right under your name, like when your in a lobby.

When you're in the multiplayer part you it says Add Controller for Split Screen.

I swear i met a glitch during story mode (regular). In the very beginning where you have to kill Castro and exit his villa. A BTR comes in through the west and you are suppose to not do anything while your allies take care of it. Instead, there was a message saying "Your actions caused your team to be killed" whenever I did nothing or something (rpg or grenade launcher). Then I restarted the mission on easy and I passed it o_______o;;... other than the 2 hours I spent trying to figure out how to pass that one part, its okay... Ballistic knives FTW

Let's talk about how fail Black ops is PC currently is. The game has been down for 5 hours and treyarch has no response at all. The release of PC was fail too due to all the major lags. There is NO party system making it hard to play with friends. I regret getting BO on pc.. Should had just gotten it on console. The dedicated servers are also very unstable and laggy. Basically, I am hating this game. I enjoyed mw2 1000x more than BO and this game makes me rage more than mw2.

I have black ops for the wii, and it's ok, but I still kinda like MW reflex more :o

Besides, Treyarch is known for making the worser Call of Duties, you don`t hear people say World at War was one of the best CoD ever, you hear Modern Warfare was one of the best CoD ever. Many aspects of World at War was copied from Modern Warfare, InfinityWard is the better studio.

Gameplay-wise, it's more difficult than mw2 since the guns have more kick/recoil and getting a perk to pro is actually doing multiple things.
Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to change my friends' & enemies' (when I stole them) care packages into something else but I just got on and tried changing my friend's and it didn't work. I could only change mine, so that's sort of a bummer

I wanted to rent it for a week from blockbuster but somebody got the last copy earlier today : X I'm expecting exploitations really, not sure. Idk I'm bored though I want a new game I may have gotten Reach, its a great game, but there's just something missing, I'm just not addicted to playing multiplayer. I mean customs are fun of course though. The campaign is pretty cool with all the easter eggs and struggle for the legendary ending, but yea it needs to be tuned up. I expect it to be good once its been tuned up a bit. Bungie is listening to the community. If Activision asked Treyarch to create black ops once mw2 came out, I'll cut them some slack I guess. But I just care about the gameplay, honestly mw2 is a great game, its just the community is too huge, causing long distance connections to the host (resulting in laggy games), abusive players (game exploits and jerks, and idiotic ones(people who consider themselves pro for playing this game or mlg, quickscoping is the only way to play, etc.) I'll admit I never even knew what call of duty was until mw2 really, and I barely knew anything about halo.

To put it shortly, I wana know if this is worth spending my cash on or not. Is the gameplay good at all, I don't mind the graphics too much.

Personally I think the campaign is awesome I love the new guns and techniques we use to kill people! Altbough the zombies is boring to me. Haven't tried multiplayer yet but I heard it was good.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Gears of War 3 will smoke this...

@Moobx: Probably, but it was one of the most boring shooters I've ever played. And the sound effects and the way the weapons shoot really sucked IMO.

Considering it's another CoD by Treyarch, I'm not going to like it, at all.

I played it yesterday and i was quite disappointed
Past couple of CoD games, there was just innovation over and over again for me
Now, these are the reasons why BO is 70$ thrown to the ocean:
Crappy spawn system
Crappy online maps
R.I.P. sniping
Laggy map materials
Worse graphics than CoD4

Theres only so many times you can release the same game. I think we should stop it here like Saw 7.
Treyarch disappointed me by spending too much time on customization, yet not on gameplay.
The only plus i found in this game was playing as JFK in zombies.

Is it worth the buy? I mean how much different is the gameplay than MW2?

Fix the freaking servers, I always get 'game lobby closed' when I'm with a party in domination or something, yet, I can rejoin their session.

Somehow my Recent games won't save.. Which is very lame.

I don't know if I should get this game. o_O And the guns still don't look like they have recoil LOL. I saw a AK74U gameplay by Tejbz, and it you call that recoil, then..... I don't even know. I guess I'm used to Combat Arms guns with fairly high recoil. =/

Black Ops on PC has already been confirmed to have performance issues, hopefully they get a fix out soon. My desktop's powerful enough to push through though, and the game's pretty fun; though I hadn't played the old CoD games (MW) enough so lean is not something I use much, and V (or any key but E) on knife is too much of a change for me, so I'll have to change my settings later and try again. So far it's not too bad though.

THis game is awesome! It will actually remove those freaking kid with OMG I <3 TO CAMP AND QUICKSCOPE and I LOVE TO USE GUNS WITH ALMOST NO RECOIL.

Yes, this game actually has a LOT of recoil. Get used to it, if you don't like it, too bad, you paid 70$ for it.
