Gif or quotJIF?quot
How do you pronounce a .gif file? I pronounce it as jif while some of my other friends pronounce it with a hard G sound. They don't believe that jif is the correct pronunciation, but I'm curious as to how you guys say it?

Are you asking our personal preference, or what is technically correct? Either way is correct.

All of my computer oriented friends pronounce it with a hard G, so I do to.
